There is a brilliant little cosmos of german language music. I think its the opposite of what you say, i say german language is excellent for music and poetry and its not really hard to look it up ;)

Ich denke immer noch das mann nicht gut auf Deutsch singen kann. Im vergleich zu anderen sprachen, Englisch zum beispiel, ist unsere Sprache nicht flüssig genug. Es gibt ausnahmen aber sie sind selten.
