Marseille finished Bobo transfer from Besiktas

Marseille signes a 3-year contract with Bobo from Besiktas. Marseille will pay 11 million Euros to Besiktas, and 3 million euros per year for Bobo. Bobo is a talented brasilian footballer who is shown as an important talent.

he was born in 1985 and he is arguably the best striker in turkish premier league. beşiktaş loaned him in 2005 from corinthians and signed him at the beginning of the following season.

he's not very fast but he's very strong, has height and good finishing ability. plays well under pressure - scored against liverpool & marseille (winning goal at around 85th minute) in champions league. dunga called him up to the brazilian national team to replace pato but didn't get the chance.

he and his wife want to settle in france but russian teams are offering more money to beşiktaş. he recently wanted a 2m€ per year contract from beşiktaş, which means he doesn't want to play for beşiktaş unless he gets paid a lot.

i guess gerets likes him a lot and was impressed by him during his time at galatasaray and liked him at marseille-beşiktaş games in champs league. he'll be a much better player at a bigger side like marseille imo.
