Chievo, Bologna and Lecce back in A.

Lecce just beat Albinoleffe in play-off final, 2-1 on agg.

Avellino, Ravenna, Cesena and Spezia going down.

i was silently rooting for Albinoleffe as i felt they really had a great run for such a small club, also wants Pisa, but it wasnt to be.

nice to have some teams back we all know, and i enjoy seeing Lecce back as it is more representation for the South:)
should be interesting as Chievo we all know, Bologna has new American ownership and wants to stay afloat and Lecce were just up in 2006 last.


out of these three, i see Lecce going down again, but i think Bologna and Chievo may surprise and stay up. Right now, if these 3 played Reggina, Torino, or Catania, i bet the 3 promotions might win. (from what i saw of the three in Serie B this past year, saw Lecce and Chievo a bunch, less so Bologna)

Chievo was in Serie A just a year ago so they still have loads of quality players and the way they dominated Serie B this season I believe they will stay up.

Bologna and Lecce are more unknown to me. Both can suprise and stay up but you never know. Bologna has a good transfer budget and we'll see how will they be able to use it. So far the transfers haven't really impressed me (Volpi and some Ascoli targetman, can't remember the name).
Lecce was in Serie A recently as well and have got a good team but I tend to think it may not be enough for them to stay up. It'll be an interesting season as all the promoted teams are capable of suprising us next season.

:p thats funny. i was rooting for them only because its nice sometimes to have a club in A that hasnt ever been there before. :)
but they had a great run, and i enjoyed watching them, only if it was 3 matches this year:o mainly the matches against the big clubs of B.

Even if Alibinoleffe would have gotten to Serie A then they would have gone straight down as well. I don't see how they could have been able to compete with the others.

i believe it is Salernitana and Citadella, unless im mistaken. i couldnt read the italian on their website (still trying to learn:() but wiki puts those two up, and i remember reading something saying it was those 2.
