i certainly dont take credit for the writing, but i wholeheartedly agree changes needed to be made to the Coppa format, more like th FA Cup. many of us thought these changes were necessary to have the credibility of the Cup revive.

i would love to see the random draw of home/away as well (if it already isnt in place) where Juve or Roma or Torino could potentially play any Serie B,C,D team away and not simply in the home of the Serie A club. think of what this would do for say...a Messina or a Spezia, whose clubs constantly struggle financially. it would be like Liverpool/Luton i think it was last year in the FA Cup when Pool had to go to the replay and Luton got 2 games revenue playing a huge club. lets push that change, and things in the Coppa will be looking up even more. :)

also, no Roma/Inter finale for the 5th time in a row, as we are both on the same side of the draw. this too is also better for the competition.

It's a bout time they make changes. The financial aspect is the most important. I feel that the league should seriously look in to pioneering some kind of cap/revenue sharing system that will increase competiveness in the league without hurting EUFA competitions.

Totally agreeing with both of you. The Coppa needs to be changed. It becomes boring sometimes, always the same final. Always a 2-leg turn, that gives buzzy the schedule of some teams already playing in 2 others competitions. Then they play with the bench, and the Coppa is BORING. Make them eventually move to Serie B/C !

i do like the one off Final format now tho. i think this years Final is in Rome yet again, but it should move between Florence, Turin, Milan, Naples, Palermo, etc.
