Benfica loss to Inter (Milan) at home, for the Eusebio Cup, in a pre-season friendly match, the two team tied up 0-0 after 120 min, the match was decided via penalty kicks, which Benfica loss, 4-5, after 6 penaltys, Nelson and Fellipe Bastos failed for Benfica, Ibraimovic failed for Inter.

Nelson might be leaving for Betis (Sevilla), Betis will offer 5M €.

Betis and Benfica are negotiating the deal for the right wingback Nelson, Benfica wants to keep part of the player's value in a future transfer.
Befica didn't receive any offer for Di Maria so far.

Benfica faces Rio Ave this sunday, in the opening week of Liga Sagres, and Porto and Sporting on the 2nd and 4th week, respectively.

Nelson confirmed on Betis de Sevilla. Personaly, I wish him all the best on is future, he wasn't doing anything on Benfica, this way, better things may come for him.

Today Argentina beat nigeria by 1-0 with a goal from... Di Maria to win the Olympic soccer Tournament, after the game Di Maria said that Benfica is an option for this season. I hope he stays.

Its great to see Benfica strengthening their squad for this season with some big names. Hopefully it will make the Liga more interesting and attract new o/s viewers.

ps. the squad looks a little unbalanced to me, defense looks like it might be a weakness :D
