Jsem Kanad'an, a nejsem Cech. Ale mluvim trochu cesky a rozumel jsem tvuj vety. Bohuzel, nevim cestinu gramtiku. :( To je moc tezky pro me.

The Czech clubs are struggling so far in European competition. Not a great result for Liberec, but I still have a little confidence that they can get a result in Slovakia.

The highest level club in Prostejov plays in the 7th division, so I usually go watch them on weekends. Olomouc is quite close, so I still go to the occassional Sigma game.

I notice you support Zenit. I'm watching their game from this past weekend right now. :)

How did you end up in Prostejov? :)
Very interesting... you speak/understand czech very well for a foreigner ;)

The good thing about the Czech league is that they are always loads of talented players (recently Fenin, Pudil, half of the Banik Ostrava squad :D) , that arenīt conceited primadonnas, they arenīt diving as much as some Latin-American nations and so on...

One of our best players, Radek Sirl, came up basically from village football (I played village football for a half year) and therefore I respect him very much for that.

I donīt know that much about Sigma Olomouc, only heard some names like Heidenreich (Sp?) and that you have some Brazilians there.

But Iīll promise to watch Czech football more closely from now on. :D

I'm teaching in Prostejov at the moment, and I really enjoy it. I went to school in Olomouc (near Prostejov) a number of years ago.

Sigma got a unexpected point away to Sparta today. :) I don't know a lot about Slovak football, but I've seen a few clubs play pre-season games here in Moravia.

Do you know anything about Tomas Necid from Slavia Prague? Apparently, we(CSKA) have bought him.

Woohoo, yes, I know :D

19 years old, the best striker of the recent european championships (U-19) and the best goalscorer of the 2006 U-17 euro champs when the czechs came second (Russia was first ;)).

Along with Fenin considered the biggest striker talent of the decade, 191 cm tall and 81 kilos, me thinks.
The transfer will take place in January.
Thatīs all I know ;)
Good heading abilities, solid speed even though heīs quite tall, very good positioning.

BUT, he can turn out to be Janczyk numero due, so beware ;)

Cheers for the info! Sounds promising :) tbh, I'd rather have a Janczyk #2 than a Ricardo Jesus #2 :D

Why do you hate Ricardo so much? He´s got such a lovely hair-cut. :p

haha tbh, I bet he spends more time fixing his hair than working on his awful finishing:D He's just another C. Ronaldo wannabe, but with no footballing talent:p
