Qantas Socceroos Head Coach Pim Verbeek has selected an extended 27-player squad for the upcoming international friendly match against the Netherlands and the 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifier Round 4 match against Uzbekistan in Tashkent on Wednesday 10 September.

Returning to the Qantas Socceroos squad are Michael Beauchamp, Jacob Burns, Ante Covic, Brett Emerton, Brad Jones, Harry Kewell, Jade North and Shane Stefanutto.

With Australia receiving a bye on match day 1 in Group A of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifier – Round 4, Uzbekistan will face Qatar in Doha and Bahrain will host Japan in Manama on Saturday 6 September.

Match day 2 in Group A of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifier – Round 4, on Wednesday 10 September will see Uzbekistan host Australia and Qatar meet Bahrain in Doha.

All Qantas Socceroos matches will be broadcast “Live and Exclusive” on FOX SPORTS.
