Hello, guys. I want to play football in pro-level, but quality of my game is not enough to play in high-level Russian Premier League or at least in first division. Now I am playing in third Russian League (Moscow Zone) and also in first futsal league ( Third league under the account). I should study last year at my University and then I am going to travel to New Zealand or Australia. That's why I have a question for you, guys: can I arrive to some of your (Australian or New Zealand) clubs on viewing? And can I remain in your country for residing and football games?
I understand, you can count me as madman, but for the sake of favourite game I am ready to leave native edges, I want to play big football and practically nothing can stop me. Hope for your answers and sorry for my bad english.

Do you have an agent / manager? Surley they would negotiate on your behalf. If not, the 'big-time' soccer in Australia is the A-League. Google it, and contact the talent scouts from the various clubs. Good luck.

The A-league is generally regarded as being at about League One standard (in terms of the English League system). I'll be honest, i don't know much about your level of football - but the likelihood of you being able to pick up a professional contract is going to be pretty slim, given we have a foreign quota rule (4 players).
However, just to give you an idea, in recent times foreign players have been signed from the following leagues:
- Dutch Eredivisie
- Campeonato Paulista
- USL First Division
- Malaysia Premier League
- Primera División de Costa Rica
(Professional football in New Zealand, apart from their A-league team, is pretty much non-existent)
Good luck.

There is always the state leagues in Australia. I think there is a fair number of internationals playing in the NSW league.

if you can trial at a decent NSWPL side and you prove yourself you could get an A-League contract
If you want to come here (why wouldn't you ;)), best to hit up a NSW Premier League club. You can get a decent wage (enough to live on comfortably, to very comfortable if you are one of the best at the club).
After 2 years you won't count as an overseas player, and if you do well enough, you should get a contract. There are another 2 teams from next year, and at least another 2 a year or two after that, so there's another 20 foreigner spots and 90ish squad spots available.
I'd also say that Australia would be scouted a lot better than lower Russian divisions (especially because lots of the lower clubs have strong ethnic ties).

Keep in mind it makes a massive difference to have contacts in football in Australia regardless of whether A-League coaches go to NSWPL games or not.
NSWPL don't pay great wages, so you'd need a job on the side too. That and its more or less a semi-professional league.

Well if your planning to come to here, first off I'd say you need to play in the NSWPL, most teams are located in Sydney. Then ideally if you good enough A-league Clubs may give you a look in. As previously stated it NSWPL is semi pro at that and you must have another job lined up.
Get a manager and possibly send a tape or somthing over if your really keen.

if you come here
Sydney FC (The best team in the A-league), train at Macquarie University (ie. public property)
so you can always just turn up, but I doubt they'll let you train with them :o
you can try emailing info@sydneyfc.com and see if they give you specific instructions :)

better way to do it, is transfer your last year to a Australian uni and you can get in on a student visa and have a go that way. The standard of the A-league is not difficult to get in if you're dedicated enough, but the talent identification pathway is not clear, so how you'd get recognised is difficult to see.
Also, only 4 overseas players are allowed per each club, i'm not sure if you fall into this category as a student or semi-permanent resident, but if you do it greatly reduces your chances of getting a contract.
Finally, if you are a student and you graduate here and get a job related to the field of your degree i am pretty sure you qualify for a perminant aussie visa.
