The year Bordeaux won Ligue 1, Gourcuff was magic.
Absolutely superb, especially down the final part of the season.
Not really recaptured that form for Lyon though.
And tbh there is only one Zizou.

Although Gourcuff can still be a great player in his own right.
I think it's clear Nasri has pushed past him at this moment.

Gourcuff still has potential to become one of best players in Europe, but he needs to have same determination and form he had with Bordeaux to Lyon.

In essence, Zidane and Gourcuff are not comparable. Zidane is in a different level than Gourcuff. We all know that. :)
