Here we can talk about rumors and transfers about the clubs in Ligue 1. Here are some news.
Lille has sack their manager Rudi Garcia and has appointed Paul Le Guen as the clubs new coach.
PSG has appointed Antoine Koumbouaré as the clubs new coach.
Thomas Kahlenberg has left AJ Auxerre and signed a four years deal with the german champions VFL Wolfsburg.

Lens have signed a three years deal with Eduardo (the man who wrote his name into the French football history by scoring both EA Guingamp goals in the 2-1 triumph in the Coupe de France final against Stade Rennais FC).

Issam El Adoua has left Wydad Casablanca and signed and two years deal with RC Lens.
The Tunisian international goalkeeper Hamdi Kasraoui has joined RC Lens on a three years deal.
Guy Lacombe has left Stade Rennais to manage AS Monaco.
Steven Langil has been loaned out from Auxerre to the newly relegated SM Caen it's a loan for one season but without any buy option for Caen.
Frédéric Antonetti has decied to leave OGC Nice and instead manage Stade Rennais
Some french rumors:
Genoa wants to sign a 2 years deal with former Lyon man Juninho Pernambucano.
Lyon are in talks with Porto about Lisandro Lopez and Aly Cissokho.
Benoît Cheyrou of Olympique de Marseille denies a Aston Villa move.
Sevilla wants Bordeaux's Alou Diarra but Alou has signed a new contract with Bordeaux.
PSG is looking to sign South Korean internacional Lee Keun-ho.
If Fernando Menegazzo is going to leave Bordeaux, then Bordeaux wants to replace him with Yohan Cabaye.
Another Yohann (Johan, Yohan :D:D) has been linked with a move to the french champions, of course I talk about Yohann Pelé the star keeper who is also linked with a move to the english champions Manchester United, I'm sure Bordeaux want Yohann to replace Ramé, but at the same time Man United surely wants to replace Van der Sar with Yohann Pelé.
Djibril Cissé might stay at l'om after all, even though he could leave for which club he wants to, but Didier Deschamps hasn't closed the door yet for the (former?) france internacional.
Johan Carrasso (the brother of Cedric Carrasso) could leave Montpellier for Lille OSC with Ludovic Butelle just on loan and with Grégory Malicki's contract is due to expire the club from nothern of France needs a Goalkeeper and the one they are hunting for is Johann Carrasso.

Must be the next great French keeper. Guy is out for 6 months after tearing his ACL on the last day of the season and clubs are still trying to get him. Unless Lille are doubling his salary, he won't leave Montpellier. Montpellier will stay up with no problems. Their supporters ditched them in 2004 when they were first relegated. Now that they're back, they will come back.

Yes, I totally agree with you, but France have already got Lloris, Mandanda and Pelé so it could be hard for him to break in into the NT.

PSG are supposedly interested in Coupet and Heinze, seems like they're trying to emulate AC Milan and become a retiring home.
Meanwhile, Marseille are looking to get rid of 9 players, notably Wiltord (what a great transfer he was ), Zenden, Civelli (strange as I thought he pretty decent:confused:), Mbami and Mears. Potential replacements include Servet Cetin and Raul Meireles.
[B]
Lyon are in talks with Porto about Lisandro Lopez and Aly Cissokho.
.
Looks like Lyon are finally trying to get players outside the Ligue 1, would they be interested in moving to France though?

Zenden is just awful and Wiltord needed some extra money. Civelli is a casualty because Bocaly is coming back from a successful loan and Deschamps wants to play him. M'Bami and Mears are easily replaceable. Now if they lose Cana, Taiwo, and Valbuena, which is likely, then they better find replacements ASAP.

Can someone tell me when Deschamps took over at Marseille? First I've heard about it. Glad he's in charge, and hopefully he'll stay for more than one season, which I'm sure he will seeing as he's an ex player :D

The news about that Deschamps would be the headcoach for Marseille is old prob a month or so. But it's also funny that Eric Gerets admitted that he just went to the middle east for the money but it's better to be honest than lie (Barry):p
Some French Rumors....
Toulouse is looking for a midfielder and they want the PSG talent Clément Chantôme.
Two bid for the Sochaux star Mevlut Erding has been rejected the man who is half turkish and half french is valuted at 12 million € for Sochaux, the bids came from Rennes and PSG.
ASSE has sold the Swedish forward Lasse Nilsson to Vitesse where he was on loan from January until now.
Geoffrey Dernis has signed a three years contract with the newly promoted team HSC Montpellier the left footed players came on free transfer from Saint-Étienne.
Gennaro Bracigliano the goalkeeper of Nancy might be heading his way south to be exactly Marseille but the goalkeeper isn't so interested to be the number two keeper at Marseille. Lille and ASSE are also interested in Gennaro.
The Guinean Winger/Forward Pascal Feindouno might be heading back to France the man who left Saint-Étienne in September and joined the Qatari club Al Saad for a sum of 8 millon € is tracked by AS Monaco and OGC Nice.
The goalscoring machine Guillaume Hoarau is close to extend his contract with the capital club to the year 2014 he would then get his salary raised to 180 000 € per month.
Marseille and Grenoble could possibly extend players with each other, I'm talking about that l'om would give 5 million £ plus the big flop Mahmadou Samassa for the very big talent Sofiane Feghouli, Grenoble are also tracking the Japaneese star Daisuke Matsui who hasn't really found him gets so much playing time with ''Les Verts''.
According to Goal.com and Wikipedia, Jérémy Mathieu has signed a three years contract with the spanish club Valencia CF he came on free transfer from Toulouse FC.

Yonathan
18-06-2009, 08:53 AM
Juninho has signed a to years deal with the Qatari club Al Garrafa he will be wearing number 5 there.
Pape Diouf is no longer the president of l'om after five years of service.
Bordeaux has put a 6 million € bid on Cédric Carrasso of Toulouse but Tolouse rejected the bid, they want at least 10 million for the french NT third keeper.
Marseille has a agreement with Turkish giants Galatasaray about the Turkish international Servet Cetin, Servet who plays as a centre back is really close to Marseille after that l'om and Galatasaray had a agreement about the transfer sum 8 million €.
Marseille is going to traning camp in Portugal (just kidding:p) but some of the people of l'om is going to Porto to talk with FC Porto about Lucho.
Olivier Monterrubio may be heading towards to Lorient, the former Lens player who also was linked with a move to Lorient last summer but instead joined the swiss outfit FC Sion has intrested Christian Gourcuff (Yoann Gourcuff's dad) this time to, his conract with Sion is due to expire 2010.
Lisandro Lopez of FC Porto is on his way to Lyon, Lyon put a 20 million € on him and is now waiting for Porto's reaction, for not so long ago Porto stated that they want atleast 22 millions for the argentinian internacional but who knows maybe they accept it so they can buy André-Pierre Gignac who they are really interested in.

must have missed the news with the Juninho transfer to Al-Gharafa. sad to see that to be honest. he easily club play in a proper league with good clubs. hate seeing players move to those shit leagues simply for the wages/top player in the league type thing.
(i guess its no different getting paid obscene amounts anywhere really, but obviously these moves are simply wage driven, he should be playing at a better club, even if hes 34 imo)
also missed Landreau to Lille, and Pele to Toulouse...sorry im trying to keep up:o

I put it there because it will happen eventually. Last I read, Marseille reps said today they will come to an agreement. Cetin's move is being put on hold because of Diouf's sacking.

I guess that's why Porto upped their price tag on Lisandro to 25 million. Must of knew the Real deal was imminent. I shall go cry now. :(

I respect Benzema's wishes. This was his dream move and Aulas accommodated him. I have no problem with the fee as I have positive speculations as to why it was so low. Glad to have seen him play in person and wish him the best.
At least this will get me more interested in La Liga. Anyway, in two to three years, this process will be repeating. Yannis Tafer is next. :D

Here's my speculation on how the deal went about.
Benzema commits to Lyon for the 2009-10 season stating he wants to secure his 2010 WC position. Real Madrid and, more importantly Zidane, contacts Benzema and his agent and assures him that signing on to Galacticos II will not hamper his World Cup hopes. Benzema hears this and contacts Aulas saying he wants to move to Madrid thus summer. Cue the Lyon/Madrid negotiations. Aulas didn’t want another Malouda/Essien/Diarra situation where they refused to show up for training blah blah and wanted the best for Benz considering he was strictly brought up in Lyon and no where else. Yes, the price is very low. I am assuming that United sent in their offer wayyyy before the Madrid offer and, contrary to reports, was significantly under Aulas’s preferred price. United probably never budged on their fee and then the Madrid news came today. In an effort to make Madrid increase their offer, Aulas sent out Blanc to state that yes they have received an offer from Madrid, but they haven’t accepted yet, because they have also received a better offer from an unnamed club (which probably didn’t exist). Madrid either called their bluff or was confident Benzema only wanted to play for Madrid and it paid off.

not to toot your horn guy:o...but that just about sounds exactly how it went down. once the Real spending started, and Zidane presumably got in the mix, the transfer was always going to happen.
so much for those 50 mil numbers that were speculated to United last yr.
just surprised as in the past, Aulus always waits for that number that he wants, and this fee was soooo much lower than what i thought it would be

Which is why I think Gourcuff will be there next year, despite Kaka playing in his position, though Gourcuff could play in the position Madrid are setting up for Xabi Alonso. Only thing that might deterred Gourcuff is his experience with Milan, but he might flip that and say his experience at Milan prepared him for Real Madrid. Zidane has so much influence on my generation. He's the new Wenger. :D

come on, you can't expect him to say something like "Lyon is a shithole, I wanna join a bigger club cause I think the French league sucks and Lyon has no chance whatsoever to win the CL" especially in the middle of the season. Players just say what the fans want to hear.

no i certainly dont expect him to say that. also dont expect him/players to say things, and then leave a year later.
i like the kid, always have, but players lose respect from me if they say A, and then immediately change that story to B shortly after.
its easy to avoid, just dont say A:o look at the Aquilani business, he was up front throughout and basically said, i want to stay with Roma, but there are chances i could leave depending on a contract/playing time/assurances/etc.
then he resigned a bit later after being linked with many clubs.
id rather here that from him than, I want to stay with Roma my whole career. UNLESS- he means exactly that. and it seemed at the time he wasnt sure, so i felt his answer was just. he didnt say i want to stay forever, and then cut and run shortly after.

well, maybe Benzema really wanted to stay at Lyon but then he received an offer from the best team in the world  and knew he would play alongside the likes of Kaka and Ronaldo, how could any player turn down that chance? ;)
-----------
transfer updates:
Marseille have signed Edouard Cissé - strange signing, he's a very average player imo...
Kader "Flop" Keita -the most expensive player ever signed by Lyon :D- has joined Galatasaray.
Rennes have signed Ismael Bangoura from Dynamo Kyiv - superb signing imo, I guess he really wanted to be back in France cuz Dynamo Kyiv are a much better club than Rennes and will play in the CL next season.

wouldnt a player who felt his hometown club, in front of his hometown fans who said he wanted to stay always and win trophies with them feel it was the best team in the world?

Yeah Bastos deal should be completed by the end of the week. The Remy move won't happen. Too much to give up. Aulas is looking at Kleber, now. As for defense, Faure, Gassama, Abenzoar, and Fontaine will likely be given a more prominent role in this season's squad. We need a LB. Best move in order would be:
1. Sochaux
2. Saint-Etienne
3. Rennes
Rennes is currently the most successful club of the three and they have fellow American Bocanegra, but there is just too much competition up front and on the wings. I don't know how good he is, but he'd be best signing with Sochaux as Gillot loves playing young players and he probably can form a partnership with Sverkos.

He's more power than finesse, though. Aly Cissokho agrees to contract terms with Lyon. Transfer fee should be agreed shortly. Loic Remy transfer fee also reportedly agreed. What about this?
In March, Tours and Nancy agreed that if Tours didn't achieve promotion to Ligue 1, Bocundji Ca would be allowed to join Nancy from Tours on a free transfer.
Ca's value probably was between 3 and 5 million. Poor Tours. :D

wow 15 millions for a player who was playing in Ligue 2 just a few years ago...says a lot about the terrible scouting system we have here.. anyway, I still think you won't win anything next season if you keep playing Cris and Boumsong in defence.

Yeah, Ligue 2 clubs, in general, have alot of great underrated youngsters. Also, I am 90% sure Cissokho will be in the squad for our 2010 WCQ match against the Faroe Islands. :p ;)
Did you watch today's friendly? Boumsong screwed up on that second goal. I think Puel will move Bodmer back there. Let's see how he plays the team during the Peace Cup.

I didn't watch it but I'm not surprised :p How this guy is still a starter for one of the best teams in France is beyond me. I saw an article about Bodmer in which Puel said he would now be playing only as a center back, so maybe he's finally realized that Boumsong sucked? :p

PSG:

Makélélé-----Clément
Giuly------------------------Sessegnon
Erding---------Hoarau
*Rothen will not start cuz I think he'll move to EPL.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyon:
Lloris
Clerc------Cris------Bodmer---Cissokho
Toulalan-----Makoun
Ederson
Govou----------Lopez-----------Bastos
*Boumsong will not start I don't think that Claude Puel is blind.
*Govou will start unless they don't buy a better winger.

l'OM
Mandanda
Bonnart---Hilton---Diawara---Taiwo
M'bia---Lucho---Cheyrou
Ben Arfa-----Brandao-----Niang

that doesn't look too impressive to be honest, i don't think Lisandro Lopez is a huge upgrade over Benzema, and there's still Govou and Ederson, who are average players imo. Puel has to play Pjanic, he's too good to be wasted on the bench.

he is very good imo, and great DMF. as i said, if we didnt have the best in the world in that position in Rome, i would love him on Roma.
but i do feel its an odd choice. EPL better league than Ligue I, yes. but 6 mil is way undercutting his value, and going from Marseille....CL, top 3 in France to...Sunderland.

Anyway, Mercato365 is reporting Lille are trying to sign the "new Ronaldinho" Douglas Costa. Costa reportedly wants to follow in Dinho's steps and play in France before jumping to better pastures. Lille are offering a few no where hear Gremio's valuation, but Gremio would accept a deal if they get half of whatever Lille gets for him later on.

Well, great players are not cheap. I don't think Heinze is washed up, he's only 31 and I think he just needed new motivation and now he has a new challenge with an ambitious team, he has lots of experience, knows the French league very well and you can't deny he's an upgrade over Zubar :p plus, you have to trust Deschamps, I'm sure he knows what he's doing;) oh and it will add even more interest to the PSG-Marseille games :D
