As part of the deal with Arsenal and Hoang Anh Gia Lai, 2 players will be sent to London to train with Arsenal. Lee Nguyen was chosen, along with Thai star Dasakorn Thonglao. Though he can't be signed by the club at the moment, this could be the seed to him eventually making the leap to the EPL.

Lee is the one who used to be at PSV? He was a potential national team candidate for the US, he has fallen off the radar now.

Longshot for them to be signed from just training, but like you said it could be the seed. Good luck to them.

He's did very good for his club. Bad start, but once he got situated his game picked up very quick. He's like a rock star in Vietnam. I heard he did get offers from the MLS but they weren't lucrative offers like he got from Vietnam. I really hope coach bradley looks at him in the future for the national team. Bruce Arena saw a lot of potential in him.
