Well, of the PSG matches I attended, I normally sat in the Paris Stand, known as Tribune Paris, Section J, in the seats near the Boulogne stand (Tribune Boulogne) right near the corner flag. Hard to say what sections are best as I've only been in the Paris stand and the Presidential Stand, which has an area excluded for only away support. As for arrival, I like to get there early to see the players warming up. Match will likely be packed, so get there early. As for travel, since your in Montmartre, which is not that far from the stadium, you can hop on the Peripherique, which will take you straight there. I'm not too big on the bars and stuff, so maybe ask around. Hope this helps.

This should be useful for you : http://www.leparcdesprinces.fr/Acces.html (there's an English version), and this (http://maps.google.fr/maps?hl=fr&source=hp&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=montmartre&near=Ville-d%27Avray&fb=1&split=1&gl=fr&ei=RwqZSujtIMTOjAeo-sy8BQ&sa=X&oi=local_group&ct=image&resnum=4) shows you where Montmartre is on the map.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend taking the peripherique due to the traffic jams, I'd take the subway instead, but then again we're in august so there might not be a lot of traffic jams...it's up to you.

alright hey, i'm gonna be doing the france trip again next season, the cities has yet to be been decided upon but i'm looking to catch a game while there, any suggestions on nice stadiums/cities aside from paris & lyon worthy of checking? any of the newly promoted teams? not too fussed but i don't want to be visiting a village or a small town, would like to keep it cosmopolitan as possible - cheers guys :)

p.s any ideas when fixture list comes out for new season? :)

Fixture list will be out on 10 June. As for cities to visit, try down south in Marseille, Montpellier, and Nice. Toulouse and Bordeaux in the east would be a good shout too.

yeah, actually just thought about that - south of france or eastern is where i'd like to go, it's hotter in the south right? considerably so than the north? also what sort of weather can i expect for september/novemeber time of year? i've been to france three times now and it's usually always wet or on and off rain which doesn't fly with me.

i hear montpellier have a couple really promising younger guys on their books at the moment, could be worth checking them out i guess - i don't want to go as far south as monaco though but i would ideally like somewhere close to germany in regards to rail links for future travel arrangements - not too clued up on french geography so i guess this again is something i will need to look into

1) decent sized city
2) not too far from the belguim or german border
3) everything else falls into place

Your pretty much tied to Strasbourg then. Problem is that club plays in the third division. I'm not too familiar with Valenciennes, but they will be opening up a new stadium this year and it is close to the Belgian border. Near Lille as well. Can catch Eden Hazard in person. Weather will probably be brutal though. In the single digits Celsius, probably with rain.

thanks
