Toni deserves to go to South Africa and Jogi the Lion shouldn't overlook the kid. He's a natural offensive midfielder and currently one of the best players in the Bundesliga. I really think he could be used in place of Ballack in case Michael gets injured or even suspended. He could perhaps even play alongside him if the team needs more offensive power.
Kießling is probably the best German striker over the course of the first half of the Bundesliga season. He deserves not only to go, but to start ahead of Super Mario and surely Klose as well. He's great in the air as well to add more to Germany's already strong aerial strengths with Ballack and Rolfes. In many ways he resembles a taller, stronger Klinsmann.
Jogi should give these guys a chance and take them to South Africa. They're young, reaching their prime, and would bring needed energy to the team. Being conservative with his team picks won't help this summer.

Derdiyok is better than both...

Özil is a bit ahead of Kroos, lets see but I'm afraid WC comes to soon for Kroos.
If Kießling can keep scoring there is no way around him.
Klose will be what Neuville was 2006.
Derdiyok will have a tough time get chosen over Helmes after the break.

i'd like to see kroos too... there's a few leverkusen players i'd like to see at the world cup, need to keep upto date with my german football because i'm falling behind with it, but yeah those two players would make pretty much any world cup squad, but germany? hmmm..
and too early for kroos? say it ain't so :(

Yep... Özil, Trochowski, Marin, Schweinsteiger, Müller, Hunt, Kroos ...lots of choices for only a few picks of creative players. Lets not forget Löw also likes to nominate those low profile workers like Weis or Gentner.

I'm a big fan of Marin, but I don't think he's quite ready.

Kroos & Kießling are future of Nationalmannschaft, Löw just can't pass on them at WC stage

That I wouldn't know much about - I haven't seen him at all since he left Mönchengladbach >_<
I'm sorry to hear that he does now, very unbecoming of such a good player.

I'd give a shot to Thomas Muller - ripped up 3.Liga last year and has looked the buisness in BuLi this season. looks very composed in position and in front of goal - has the priceless knack of being in the right place at the right time, much more natural than than the likes of Gomez etc.

(for club)from what i seen he looked like a central player so my inital thought of the introduction of robben with the added effect of ribery would've been limiting his first team apps are voided off..... still prefer kroos though.... looks a good player and knows exactly how to utilise and distribute the ball
i'm guessing you're appreciation for muller, appropriately stated 'right place at the right time' & 'in front of goal' are from watching kris boyd poaching antics for the past few + seasons with his ability to not move more than two yards from the six yard box for an entire 90 minutes:D
p.s gomez is terrible! i remember the world cup germany, germany had gomez and france had gomis and both were hyped to be the next big things in their respective nations but both were shit, and still to this day are! think gomez had one stand out season..... anyway podolski >>>> gomez; every time! p.s hope hibs gub ye 8-0 tomorrow, merry christmas btw:)

He starts quite often and I just heard the other day that he's played every match of the league this season a long with Badstuber, pretty good for two young'ns like they are.

I have a bet on Gomez to be top scorer at the end of the season, made before the season started, I think i'll wün.
Poldi on the other hand scored like minus 12 goals and has exactly 0.745765 assists.

Mate just check Gomez` stats of the past 4 years. You will know then why Bayern paid 30 million € for the boy and why everyone rates him that high.

He just hasn't produced the goods at international level yet, all the times I've watched him play at club level he seems to always score somehow.
Anyways I think Kießling definitely warrants a spot in Germany's WC squad but I'm not too sure about Kroos. I only really watch highlights of the Bundesliga so I see how prolific Kießling is but I'm not too sure about the influence Kroos has on an entire game. Certainly a talented player though.

I agree with Macro that Klose should be like Neuville in 2006, as a late sub to help in attack when he's needed.
Gomez needs confidence placed in him to play regularly.
And I understand some say Kroos isn't ready yet, but he'll be 20, the same age Piggy played at Euro04 and as Poldi at WC06. And Kießling is by far the most overlooked and underestimated possible German NT player at the moment without a doubt. I would choose him over Poldi any day.
I miss Klinsi's risk taking that Jogi Lion doesn't have as much of. Jogi is an expert in strategy and team formation, but needs to have the stones to take chances with a couple younger and overlooked players.
