lol so random
1. Chelsea
2. Manchester United
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
I'm sorry, but I can't see City out of the top 4 this season. Although they seem to buy players for fun, they have a squad strong enough to get to the Champions League. Meanwhile Liverpool is having some problems with keeping their players in the club (Benayoun already left, Mascherano is probably going to Inter). In my opinion, the "Big Four", as we have known it for several seasons, has fallen apart.

4. Arsenal

Wouldn't it be refreshing to see a change at the top of the league?
Whether it's Arsenal or any other team that'll make it to the top instead of what you all predict, Man United and Chelsea. (yawn)
I'm f*cking tired of seeing them there at the end of every season the last couple of years - since the time of Invincible Arsenal.
I know it's a request that will still take some time (years) to be fulfilled, but I'm in a rantmode now. :p
I know some of you younger football fans think that United and/or Chelsea have some god-given right to be up there.
Money talks. But we older ones remember a time when neither of them made it to the top of the English Top League.
So come on the rest of the teams, put up a serious challenge FFS. :D
1.Man City
2.Tottenham
3.Chelsea
4.Aston Villa
18.West Ham
19.West Brom
20.Wigan

You forgot one team at the top, the Gunners, but I appreciate your effort.

Chelsea by a wide margin, then 2-6 in any order seems possible. Will come down to injuries and a little luck, but I think 6-8 points will separate those five clubs. Spurs are deeper than the other clubs around them and good upside in a lot of their players, so I'll wishcast them to second, but it's a crapshoot. Everything after Everton (8-16) and above relegation is a total guess. Wolves just staying up, everyone else reasonably safe.
I think we'll see mid-table clubs taking a lot of points off of the Top 6, except for Chelsea, the other top clubs are closer together in quality now than before.

As much as it kills me to say it, I think Manchester United are going to win it. Not that I have anything against the club. Just would like to see the title go to another club.
Arsenal are in BIG trouble in my eyes. For me it seemed to have started way back when Arsenal dropped 2 points against Newcastle by giving up a 4-0 lead. The loss of the Carling Cup at Wembley, and then being knocked out of the Champions League the way they were knocked out has certainly hurt team morale. The performance at West Brom last weekend is just adding fueling to the potential fire. Maybe Jens Lehmann can save the season (by consulting his notes :P). Arsenal have a serious discipline problem, not just the players getting sent off, but the manager as well. This season, he was banned from the touchline in the Carling Cup match between Arsenal - Spurs, and last season, he was sent off into the stands for his reaction when his side lost to Manchester United at Old Trafford. If you have a manager who gets into trouble with authority, then that's gonna trickle down into the players as well (Arsenal have the most red cards this season along with The Albion). This season may potentially be lost, but for future seasons, they need some serious discipline training.
Chelsea and Manchester City are both still in the race for the title in my eyes. Obviously Chelsea is in a better position than Manchester City, but both teams are obviously going to need Arsenal and Manchester United to drop points if they wanna be in the title race. As I mentioned above, they may get that from Arsenal, but Manchester United? Who knows
Tottenham are also potentially still in the race, but they obviously need Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea to draw or lose all their remaining games (especially Manchester United). Frankly, as a Spurs fan, I can still hope they can get the title, but it doesn't look very realistic to me. Their main concern should be gunning for a Champions League spot, because now, a resurgent Liverpool is on the move up the table and I would hate like hell to miss out on the Champions League because, lets be honest. Spurs have had those weekends where they did very well in the Champions League, and then came and faced a Wigan or West Ham, and either had a draw or a loss because they felt they were facing a much weaker side, and they could get away with playing at 70-80%
On a side-note, I know we face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, and if we beat them we're probably going to have to face Barcelona in the semis. But if Liverpool gets the last Champions League spot, and Spurs miss out on it, but wind up winning the Champions League. I can hear all the Everton fans cheering for the poetic justice that Liverpool got if they could not compete in the Champions League, because the fourth spot has to go to the Champions (for the uninitiated: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_F.C._Champions_League_qualification_2005-06)
Unfortunately for Liverpool, its too little too late. Roy Hodgson rammed that team into the ground, and now the best they can hope for is a Champions League spot (like many other clubs). If Daglish had been brought in when NESV took over, maybe they may have had a shot at the title. I don't understand how Roy Hodgson could take Fulham to the Europa League finals, and then fuck up as bad as he did with Liverpool. God help West Bromwich Albion if he repeats his performance there as he did with Liverpool.
Liverpool's resurgence unfortunately is going to leave Bolton out in the cold for a Champions League/Europa League spot. Which is a shame, because early on in the season before Liverpool shot back up the table, it looked like Bolton were gonna get into a European competition (be it either the Champions League or the Europa League).
For some reason, I think Aston Villa could potentially wind up being relegated. Currently, Villa supporters want Gerard Houllier gone, and if the manager can't get the team together and the fans behind the players, the team is gonna fall down the table (look what happened with Liverpool earlier this season).
Birmingham City are also in real danger of being relegated. In the weeks before they won the Carling Cup, they started sliding down the table, and now they're in real danger of being relegated with their recent form.
Just like last year, West Ham will JUST evade relegation. Even though he made great signings in the January transfer window, you gotta feel a little sorry for Avram Grant. With the ordeal of Portsmouth last season, and then West Ham's early performance in the season, it seems that every club Avram Grant touches turns to shit. But we shall see what happens.
Champions: Manchester United (possibly Chelsea or Manchester City)
Champions League spots (any 4 of 6): Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal
Europa League spot (any 1 of 4): Liverpool, Tottenham, Bolton, Manchester City
Relegation (pick 3 of 5): Aston Villa, Wigan, Birmingham City, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion
Something football has always taught me, is that its never over until the final whistle blows at the end of 90' + stoppage time.
