His form over the last 2 games has been very impressive, I have seen him make numerous spectacular saves. I haven't been watching Robinson very much recently, but maybe DJ deserves another chance in the World Cup because of his superior level of experience.

Got to be Robinson, James did well today but some very dodgy stuff aswell... very big mistake in the 1st half but luckily he didn't get punished (if that was against Brazil, England just lost the final 5-0)

Robinson looks so much more stable and pulled off some very good saves aswell, if u watch the citeh match, citeh scored from a long throw which caught out Ledley King and Robbinson, but in the 2nd half they tryed the same thing again... Robinson just adjusted his game 2nd time round came out and caught the ball, can't see calamity James doing that.

Robo all the way!

David James has a lot of experience but I'd say Robinson has been on better form over the last year and is a better choice for the World Cup than James.

Too many times this season David James has made stupid mistakes for Man City, I'd hate to see him make mistakes like that at the World Cup.

I;m not an england fan...so i want james to be the GK....always gives everyone a chance to score.

while james is good on his best day, he doesn't share the consistency of robinson...therefore, i voted against james. i'd have nigel martyn ahead of james.

i'm a blue and even i'd say robbo's the better 'keeper.
today we saw two sides to james... probably the best shot-stopper in the premiership, and, at the same time, a complete calamity when it comes to kicking, ball control, etc. he's a fantastic backup given his experience at the top level, but i'd rather have robbo any day.

David James - No NO NO. Remember Denmark last year. He is one of the best shot stoppers in football, but its when he has to THINK is the problem. His judgement is scary. NO NO NO. Bring back Nigel Martyn as cover for Robinson...

Robinson is the clear successor to Seaman, but it's nice to see James in decent form; if it hadn't been for some great saves City could have lost a lot more than 2-1. On the other hand he also made one huge blunder that could have, but didn'lt, lead to a goal...

I think David James deserves at least the #2 spot.
He does make some mistakes, I will admit. Robinson, is more consistent.

Just nationalize the Chelsea defense as English and they'll make any goalkeeper look good.
Petr Cech, the best in the world? Don't make me laugh.
I can't believe Cech actually got voted best in the world.

Maybe David James needs to play for Chelsea.
That will get him the #1 shirt for sure.

The best keeper in the world is Gabor Kiraly of Crystal Palace, in my opinion.
The guy is very athletic, and makes unbelievable saves.
What's so good about Hungary anyway? The English need to "buy" him over. :D

James is a nightmare, I trembled whenever the ball came near him when he played in the England squad, god knows what the defenders though.

hey, if James can stay consistent for the rest of the season he deserves his chance, but I think he'll slip up and he'll again justify the david james stereotype
