Continuing with São Paulo FC who was deleted...

São Paulo plays with Chivas (CD Guadalajara) at home and lost......

Terrible result for us. Now we must to defeat Cienciano and Caracas to take 2nd place in group 1 of Libertadores.

Today we play against Ituano FC. We won. 2-0. Goals of Thiago and Rogério Ceni (FK).

We finish Paulista Championship in 2nd place. I could win but Santos was great playing in their home (Vila Belmiro) during the championship and finish 1 single point on our front. Argh...........

But that´s ok.... we won all the classics...

São Paulo 4-2 Palmeiras,
Corinthians 1-2 São Paulo,
São Paulo 3-1 Santos.

Now let´s see what happens in the Brasileirao....

We bring a awesome player. Ricardo Oliveira. From Real Bétis.
He´ll be a very important piece for us in the Libertadores playoffs.

Best regards fellas.

I just saw a post in Demon**id called "Torcida Independente-A Retomada" about Sao Paulo and their way to the tri-campeonato, seems like a nice documentary. I am a fan of torcedores in Brazil and this one seems interesting, although I support Vasco (Forca Jovem) :o Anyways upcoming Libertadores should be really good, definetely looking forward to the Sao Paulo games :)

Why Vasco, well probably because its the best team in Brazil, and an easy choice if you have an option like Flamengo. I know people argue for their own teams all the time, and I do the same, so yeah I go for Vasco, too bad you are a Flamengo fan  , you seem like an alright guy :D

We'll see how Flamengo does with Sao Paulo over the weekend, should be interesting :)

Libertadores is a magic competition and it´s a proud to all são-paulinos be the greatest brazilian club on it.

hehehe!!

São Paulo 1-0 Flamengo

Mengão86.... sorry buddy....

Goal of Rogério Ceni. We domain the game but we lost a lot of oportunities too. Two shots in the bars and two another shots very very close of it...

Flamengo attack was destroyed by our defenders Lugano, André Dias and Fabão.

We could play better but that´s enough for a opening....

3 points...

hahahaha!!!

Don´t worry Mengão... i´m just kidding...!! :D

Next game:

São Paulo - Caracas.

You make it sound like you were the only team to lose oppurtunities? Diego Silva missed TWO WIDE OPEN EASY GOALS. If we had Luizao, this game's scoreline could of been different. Sao Paulo scored it's goal after Fernando gave them a gift in the area and Diego forced a penalty. That game was very winnable!!!

no point in saying that man...flamengo loses many chances all the time...they need to learn to capitalize and then defend well

Of course, it is the result of piss poor coaching. I really do sometimes wonder how much time these guys are putting in at practice. Probably not too much since our financial situation is a mess. I just hope the president and director leave Flamengo sometime soon so we can get some that is competent in charge. R$ 80 thousand for Obina is rediculous when he is complete shit.

I also partly blame the players too...sometimes you really do need a big name upfront, and someone who is young and not in their 30s like Luizao (although he has been doing pretty well for Flamengo)

Kleber leite I think is doing an ok job...he was responsible for Ramirez and Luizao, wasn't he?

EDIT: btw, Mengao, where do watch these games? Do you get Globo Internacional? If its via internet, let me know how by sending a PM

I agree with you, but management is dealing with the situation correctly. We have a pretty good junior team actually but we aren't calling up players to gain experience like Bruno Mezenga. Instead we are signing players from small teams for depth, and they mess up like Diego Silva did yesterday with two easy goal oppurtunities.

Ramirez is giving me the vibe that he doesn't want to be at Flamengo anymore after the paycheck incident. He had a horrible game yesterday and it seems like he is trying to lose support from the fans so he can get his way.

I watch the game at a Brasilian coffee shop who has Globo Internacional. Unfortunatly I don't have it at home because I have cable and I would need satelite to get it. Whenever I can't make it to the coffee shop I follow the game on Globoesporte.com and listen to it on the Globo radio stream from RJ.

How much does that run for? I'd prefer to watch the games on a larger screen with better resolution...

Obina is bad.......

Luizão is good but he is old.

Flamengo played well in the first 20 minutes (when they got their two best chances of goal) but after that they just disappear in the pitch.

We could score more one or two goals but we didn´t...

1-0 was enough to me... let´s see in Returno...

We played well at the end of the game except for the last 5 minutes, but I won't get into too much of that because I'll make myself angry:mad:

About Edmilson, he´s a great player and it´s a huge lost for us. He started hiw carrerer in Tricolor and I´m a fan of him. I hope he recover himself fastly. :(
