United have scored 100 goals in all competitions so far this season.
The Reds were edged over the century mark by Ji-sung Park’s match-sealing strike against Arsenal on Sunday, which was the team’s 66th Premiership goal this term.

Incredibly, United had only notched 40 goals when they exited the Champions League to Benfica on December 7, averaging 1.67 goals per game over 24 games.

The heartbreak of defeat in the Stadium of Light served to reignite United’s attacking prowess, and they have plundered 60 goals in the proceeding 27 games, at an average of 2.2 goals per game.
Outside the Premiership, nine goals came in the Champions League, eight in the FA Cup and 17 in the triumphant Carling Cup campaign.

Ruud van Nistelrooy is once again the Reds’ top scorer with 24 goals this term, while fellow strikers Wayne Rooney and Louis Saha have 17 and 14 strikes apiece for the season.

and since we all love to compare each otherss teams here so much, this is for you all:
Team Goals Games
United 100 51
Liverpool 90 56
Chelsea 87 48
Arsenal 79 50

need i say united have the highest strike rate too.......don't beleive me then calculate it for yourself ;)

our 79 is rather low considering we have the ability to nick 7 in a match :D

Gosh, it sucks losing to ManU, but, when you still have Champions League fixtures this late in the season, it really takes its toll.....nah, it was a good game for ManU, congrats

I don't understand that either, lol.

And about Chelsea losing to United at home... near impossible, unless United are inspired. Stamford bridge is a tough place. United will have to constantly run at Chelsea, like Barcelona did.

We had Champions League qualifiers, and we went a round longer than Arsenal in the league cup. Plus I think a round longer in teh FA Cup and we've got a game or two more played then them in the league..

We've still got more than Chelsea because of the longer Carling Cup campaign

What is wrong in that,Its a fact that United played more games than Chelsea.

United played 51 games ,while chelsea played 48 and arsenal 50.

Only Pool played more than us . (Thats why they look tired :D )

such a margin.....the score change when united have their option on selecting striker.....with ruud=24 goals,rooney=17 goals, and saha=14 goals. The most impressive is saha......he have been creating a lot of goals in such nick of time. i don't care about the title anymore but i do care about the quality that man utd shown lately. they are fantastic.

I prefer take second or first place in Premier League, win Carling Cup than take 5 th - 6 th place in PL, and play succesfully in CL...

United is going to be stronger next year. On Sunday we were much better than Arsenal, and I am very happy with that. Egg-Head played 25 minutes, and showed nothing, Fabregas too.

Glory United!

61 million spent on 3 strikers, I'd be expecting alot of goals as well. :)

Liverpool spent half of that amount to strikers and none from them(Morientes, Cisse, Crouch) is able to score goals. What an effectively spended money:D
