Well the French media seems to really like the duel between the two keepers but now it really seems that Coupet is better.

I am not can be not objective but me I vote for Barthez, when it is said that it is not good its makes me well laugh, Ok coupet is great this year I agree but for me Barthez must play its last world cup, it is the legend goalkeeper of the equipe of France, it is very forms some in this moment with Marseille and never has bad with France

Coupet is the better keeper by far...but I voted for barthez. My reasons :
- I'm not french and I don't want to see the best french team.
- Would certainly like to see barthez make some stupid mistakes and screw up. :D

According to "Le Parisien" Barthez would be the French Goal keeper for the World cup, Domenech would have chosen it for its experiment, this competitions always good under the France shirt, like for its affinities with the Leaders (Zidane, Thuram) that coupet does not have

On the other hand, what do we have: Coupet! The Robot. Just a professional. He doesn't say anything that could offend anyone, he doesn't drink or smoke. He could be in contract with colgate or Head n' Shoulders. He doesn't do anything wrong on the field or outside. You can't say anything about him cause there is nothing to say. He's just good for what he's payed: being a keeper. A fucking robot.
If someday all the players are like Coupet, I can't predict that there won't be any football fans in the stadium. Only executives.
Efficient football against fantasy football. Make your choice.

I think Ribery, Wiltord and Giuly are better than him on the right side. He didn't make a great season. His pathetic sent off against PSV was also against him. And if you consider the fact that no one in Europe has wanted him since he said (2 years ago) that I was ready to leave Lyon... He's not fit for the international level: too gentile and very questionable mentaly and technicaly. And like Malouda, he doesn't know what scoring a goal means :D

For me 2 players should'nt be in this list : Cissé (Anelka is far better) and Silvestre (Abidal, Gallas and Givet can play left back and we miss midfielder : Pires, Toulalan or Mavuba).
And Coupet is far better than barthez this year without any doubt. Fantasy is good for foward or midfielder, not for goalkeeper .

Really who cares in which club he's playing? He was awful all this season (even worst than Rothen). He disappears completely when you ask him to play ten meters away from what he believes is his best spot. And as the center is taken by Zidane... He's not appreciated by the other players which is not a good thing when you're going to live together for 2 months.
You know what? Dhorasoo is in fact the new Dugarry. The kind of player you don't know why he's here. No matter how pathetic he is, he's still in the team.... But Dugarry was a friend of Zidane and Dhorasoo is a friend of Domenech. That's it!
And for your concern, although he was playing for Marseille, I wasn't asking for Dugarry in the national team. And I would have prefered Anelka instead of Cissé, even if he was playing for PSG. So stop your paranoia. We're talking about national team not about this ridiculous little war between our teams.

Giuly was the one to take instead of Dhorasoo or even Pirès would have been better (even if I don't like him). They deserved the spot.
Fantasy is good for foward or midfielder, not for goalkeeper .
