What is your opinion?
I obviously root for Real Madrid, but considering the rest of the schedule, there are some doubts arising. Real Madrid clearly have the toughest schedule of the three teams. Osasuna on the other hand will receive both Valencia and Madrid at the El Sadar and this could prove a great advantage. One has to take into account that Osasuna are very strong at home.
Currently, Valencia have 62 pts, Real have 60 and Osasuna 59.
The remaining games for the three teams:

I doubt Osasuna can bury the gap and take 2nd, but I would predict them getting 3rd. I see them dropping at least 4 points in the last 4. I'd say Valencia have the best chance to grab 2nd, and Madrid will falter to 4th :eek:
so here's how I see it:
1. barca
2. valencia
3. osasuna
4. real madrid
it'll be close, and I think the real battle is for third between Osasuna and Real.
I see 2 matches where in Valencia could draw or lose, Atl Madrid and away to Osasuna.
... Anyone wanna take me on an signature bet? I say Real Madrid will finish second :p

Madrid has
//@ Osasuna <---
//@ Racing Santander <----
//vs. FC Villareal <----
//@ FC Sevilla <----
With their away form being as bad as it is this year (3w, 6t, 7L - cadiz, alavez, and malaga all getting the better of them) I think it's more likely Real will go flat. You might say (might) that all that was early in the season - Madrid is unbeaten in 7 games - a run that saw them play Valencia and Barca, but of those last 7 they won one 1 against Depor.
I'd say it comes down to the last game of the season between osasuna and valencia. valencia taking it.

I'll go for Real. They should be able to retain the 2nd place again this year. Its the end of the season, and what the teams did all through the season doesn't count at this point in any league. This is the time to show who you actually are, and I think Real Madrid will be able to finish 2nd.

It's going to be really tight but I think Valencia will get 2nd place.

You are on..
I say RM finish third and valencia finishes second....based on the away games for RM, loss of ronaldo and Valencia's surge in form recently. I also predict the 2nd spot being decided before the last match of the season.... and the only thing that comes out of the "valencia - osasuna" match will be who gets the 3rd place.

Valencia will finish second.
Also, there is no FC Valencia. It is Valencia CF (Valencia Club de Futbol).

I don't almost dare to predict anything. When I saw what some teams were able to do in the end of last season...
But I think (and hope) that Valencia can make the second. Real third and Osasuna... well... is there any chance that Sevilla could miraculously finish fourth? :o :D

I have had the privilege to see the joy and coolness of the Valencia fans in my hometown when Valencia played Olympique Marseilles in a Uefa Cup final here. They brought the red'n'yellow'n'orange colours of their Mediterranean City to Scandinavia. Amazing fans, absolutely no trouble or violence - only smiles and party fever. There were people of old age as well and they were all dressed in funny costumes to celebrate their club. I wish I had taken some photos to show you.
I hope they finish second because of that. But if Barca starts to drop points I hope of course that they do the same.
Edit.
I found a pic from Gothenburg on BBCs homepage.
