Hey lads... I know this is the EPL section and all, but just wanted to know what you think of our new shirt? It's not like there is a Danish League section (What's the deal with that, MaXxed??? )

http://www.brondby.com/upload/biffile0_fa008pg1mo6p8mm0e4e2_37751.jpg

Apparently it's an unique design... Would prefer the version Chelsea has :(

It's probably for the best. With two stars, they'll look even more out of place in Serie C. :D

The countdown has started to the unveiling of Chelsea Football Club's new adidas home kit.

The shirt will be revealed officially on July 20, but day by day you can see key elements of the revolutionary new design that is certain to be a huge hit with fans.

This is what we have so far from the first day.....

Good idea for how they are revealing that Chelsea on I suppose.

Do many people on here actually like the Man Utd shirt??? I think its absolutely horrid! The white around the badge looks so wrong! and the sponsor "AIG" hardly helps it out in any way.

I think they're padded or sumert to stop a Rooney happening again. I think they look good too.

If you look closely at that pic with Giggs signing that shirt, u'll be able to make out the same red mark that was on the blue United shirt last season. I think that is the new 3rd kit.

I think all the brands have ran out of creativity. All the new kits of the World Cup and the 06/07 leagues look ugly. The retro look tries too hard and should be used for one off promotional games or special occasion, not for an entire season. I think that to date the most progressive designs are done by those smaller brands like Hummel, Joma and Kappa has some nice stuff, but they overdo their large logo. Puma is probably the best out of the big companies. Reebok is abandoning all together (Liverpool is with Adidas noe). Umbro had a promising run, but they seem to have run out of ideas too - and with the loss of Chelsea, Ithink they are fallling behind.

New united kit is brilliant, Nike has done a great job paying tributes to the busby babes first title.
United's new home shirt - shown for the first time here - is a celebration of 50 years since the Busby Babes' first league championship.

The new United home kit has been carefully designed by Nike in tribute to the Babes. The shirt draws inspiration from the one worn by the 1955/56 title-winning team, with a classic white trim and V neck.

Ryan Giggs and co will wear the new kit in their first pre-season match on Saturday, against Orlando Pirates in Durban, South Africa. The new kit will be on sale globally from 27 July.

The away kit will be launched on 24 August. As special edition celebratory shirts, both the home and away shirts will be available for one season only.

The Arsenal one is better than last season's, but I wish they would go back to using that old school emblem from a couple years ago, with the nice old looking artillerly piece and the latin slogan underneath. I love that one-the new emblem is a bit too "modern."

That was no mistake, my friend. The Irishman has positioned himself to have a breakout year. Just you wait, Liam Miller is going to be all the rage in about five months.

While his teammates were playing in the World Cup, Miller wasn't just sitting at home watching them on T.V.!!! Quite the contrary, in fact. He hired a new personal trainer, and together they've been working not only on pace, but also endurance. Somebody save this post and come December you can all remind me how right I was.

...I'm full of shit, you're probably right. ;)

lol...

How did you know I had it narrowed down to Miller and Eagles? :D

the AIG does take getting use to. The biggest problem for most is that box around the letters. From the initial screen shots, to the official jersey, it is quite a bit smaller and less intrusive.

k, back to the big decisions. Miller or Eagles... hmmmm...

this is just a photoshopped idea of what some fan thought the adidas kits would look like, hence it is an old pic and totally fake... notice the cut and design is that of the pre-world cup adidas shirts? the badge is different from the one liverpool actually uses, plus hte discrepancies that others have noted about the smaller images compared to the whole shirt pic.

Somebody save this post and come December you can all remind me how right I was.

...I'm full of shit, you're probably right. ;)
lol but now he can't get a Miller kit, the Irishman on his way out of OT! all the United fans are rushing to get their no. 17 kits while they still can! :D:D

which blind twat designed this and how can you wear that with pride and diginity. this is discraceful. i honestly dont give a care in the world if its like the 1950s kit, this has taking the word shite to new levels

why cant we have some decent designs like chelsea and liverpool and PLEASE BRING BACK MANSION what is it with AIG. we look like a bunch of idiots with a bloody insurance irm sponsoring us and having theyre logo in captitals. i excpect ronaldo will be making a few no win no fee claims this season.

Seems a very odd rule for the FA to have, why would they care? Does anyone have a link?

We have had complete redesigns of at least 2 of the 3 shirts for the past 3 seasons.

No, Arsenal have had 4 different home kits the past four seasons, Middlesbrough change their kit nearly every year too.

With us, generally it's a new home kit in the summer of even numbered years, that lasts for two years, and new away/3rd kits in odd numbered years, lasting usually 2 years

Never heard of such a rule.

We are on our 3rd home kit in 3 years. Last season we got new home and 3rd, this year all 3 are new (Umbro to Adidas)

The rule applies to all Prem clubs. Every kit brought out by each club must last at least 2 years. Unless it's a for something special, like a centenary year. The home kit of 04/05 ws also used in 03/04, so it was 2 years in use. Centenary kit was for centenary so only for one year. This new kit will last 2.

Same 2 year rule applies to away kits too. But to overcome this, after a year away kits are usually demoted to 'third' kits, which enables a new away kit.

What we might find is this season's away kit or third kit lasting 3 years, so that the pattern of new-away-kit to old-away-to-third-kit pattern re-emerging.

could be european lettering... most english clubs i've seen have different colors and different type choices for their european kits.

not sure why the home kit doesnt have numbers on the shorts though... maybe its a mistake? actually, i think its just not visible in this photo.. pictures in posts above have the number on the home kit shorts.

hahaha, yeah it is scary how quickly i've turned to liking them. actually bringing stilian petrov from celtic might be possible, although they already have too many midfielders. they need defenders and kishishev is probably available.

i think the only way they could take my united place is if they resurrected stoichkov's career and bring him back as their new striker. well actually that still might not do it. if they brought back letchkov i'd be sold :p:D

Yeah, you're right. Carragher has different numbering because he's in the European Kit which will not use the usual Premier League numbering style. Also, the home kit does have the numbers on the shorts. It's visible in many other photos.

The liverpool White kit with the different numbering that is because that jersey is only worn in EUROPEAN GAMES the red and yellow are premierleague home and away and also for fa cup but yes the reason it is different lettering is because that is there EUROPEAN JERSEY :)
