Much will be at stake for Sporting and Benfica. Benfica must win and hope Sporting lose in order to grab second place. A draw against Braga would be enough for Sporting to finish second and go to the CL next year.

Relegation battle will be one to watch out for as well. Hopefully Guimaraes pulls through and avoids relegation.

Porto will play the final match against Boavista. Co Adriaanse has put out a weak lineup for this match. I don't expect a win but i'm sure Boavista are thinking of one hoping that it's enough for a spot in the UEFA cup, depending on the Nacional game.

It's going to be a great weekend in Portuguese league

I am pulling for Benfica, but I want 3 teams to qualify for the CL next year.

Regardless if Sporting wins tomorrow, i'm sure that next year there will be 3 Portuguese teams in the CL. Benfica will qualify in my opinion.

Hopefully that will be the case.

What a horible loss for Benfica but either way Sporting did what they had to.

CL entry - FC Porto & Sporting
CL Qualification - Benfica
UEFA Cup - Nacional, Braga & Setubal
Teams relegated - Guimaraes, Belenenses, Rio Ave & Penafiel.
