He's a good player.

I heard a rumour that Liverpool, Man U and Spurs are all interested in signing him.

Chimbonda is a great defender. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets picked up by one of the top four or five England clubs. got him for my fantasy team awhile back, he went point-crazy.

it's a business and you can only play for a short period so if it's best for him than he should do it
not his fault he's so good

plays one good season and wants to fuck off. Wigan best get rid...they don't want players like that in there side for next season who don't want to play for the club. only problem is Wigan might have brought in abit of money from Bullard leaving and Chimbonda leaving in the future, however even though an Premier league side, I can't see them being able to attract any decent players to be honest other than journeymen...ill see who they purchase in the summer before deciding to put a bit of cash on them going down.

outside chance of Newcastle going down next season also in my opinion :) Intertoto cup starts from one week after WC and they should be nackered come start of the league ;) and I suspect a big clearout in order to suffice there large debt.

Paul and Jewell and Dave Whelan are "livid" after hearing about this. They set his price at 6mil and say that if they don't recieve an offer of equal or higher, he'll remain in the reserves for the rest of his contract

It's the way he went about it that got people so upset. After hearing about that, I wonder how much other teams will want him?

obviously he wanted to get on with things as fast as possible but he could have waited a day or at least not turned the request in immediately after the game
