Demolition?
Highbury is being converted in to apartments. One of the stands is a historic site and thus can not be taken down.

That's what ive heard too.(Ive also heard that apartment buyers have the choice of a season ticket or something like that, but not sure if it's true)Would be a huge shame if demolition was true, since i was a school boy just around the corner, highbury stadium has allways been a special part of that area.

good job it's not true then. the East Stand is a Grade II listed building, so that's definitely going nowhere.

No, but a Spurs fan would :D
The west and east stands are listed buildings, meaning that they are of historic importance and cannot be demolished. They will be converted into apartments, while the north and south stands will be demolished to create new flats. The pitch will be become an open green space.
When the apartments went on sale, years before their completion, people camped the whole night to get them. The were on sale for between £285,000 and £1m.

yeah, they obviously have some demolition to do, but I doubt they will be using explosives...

He certainly does... Heinze must be a slip. But anyway, Highbury has only bbeen used for 93 years, if I remember correctly.
