What is this partnership between Riordan and Paul Hartley? One plays for Hibs and the other plays for Hearts.

Wait a minute...........just read that article again.WTF is he doing arriving at Parkheid in January? It also says that both Riordan and Hartley should be at Celtic in the New Year.
IIRC...that was the talk prior to last January's transfer window.
Is this a wind up?

Dougie Donnelly said it during HT of the Scotland match so I guess there must be something to it.
Is Chesney trying to recreate his boyhood........a well known Hibs fan.Cannot manage them so manges Celtic and signs all their players and pretends that he's in Edinburgh.

He won't move until January because his contract with us runs to October, I imagine we'll give him a rolling contract for the space between then and January 1st. On another note, congratulations and best wishes to OF supporters, your clubs have proved their class and demonstrated their positive influence on Scottish football once again. Taking another team's best player, in this case one we've raised and nurtured from the age of 17, without troubling about a fee is truly commendable, and you should all be proud.

Well we sorta know now Nelly why the Hibees refused Rangers offer to sign him in january Maybe it was the player himslef who said no to it, as we know the Hibs board are not shy to sell, as he might be a ned but he does'nt seem stupid ;) .
Even tho Celtic has signed him in a pre-contract agreement he will come to Parkhead in October but not be eligable to play until january, i'm sure in that time he'll be a fine upstanding young gentleman.
It does tho, must signal the end to Hartsons career at Parkhead with Millar ,Zurawski, Beattie, Maloney and even Dublin if he hangs about for buttons for another season all more able & mobile than BBJ
Anyway once he pulls on the Hoops and is banging them in with that magical left foot of his ,im sure most of the fans will accept him with open arms.

Is it Celtic's fault the he refused for so long to sing a new contract after being offered megre wages ? (blame the hibs board)as for our clubs demonstrating a positive influence on Scottish football ,we take your Congratulations and hopefully if Rangers get there act together next season we will gladly tie up 1st & 2nd place and restore the devine order of things ;) Now away and listen to the proclaimers.

Celtic could also offer Hibs a transfer fee to take Riordan off their books during the summer window.
There would be no sense in Hibs hanging on to him and then having to change things 3 months into the season. Might as well start the season afresh. :)
Is this not the same "ned" that Rangers tried to sign up not so long ago? :o
As for the story about the partnership between Riordan & Hartley, that site was on the lookout for a new editor recently. It seems that they got one from the Daily Rectum as he's talking sh-t-

Really, you want the Hun to finish second? That's an odd sentiment from a 'fenian'. Maybe stop cheering them and think about how your own broke, rubbish club is going to finish second when both Gers and Hearts are going to outspend you this summer, Petrov is on his way and the rest of the midfield and back line are no getting younger. Get it up ye idiot, worry about coming third.

Rule Caledonia all i can say is im totally suprised Mowbery is staying as i thought better of him than mediocracy , if ur board showed better beleif u could have reached the CL years ago, but your board as much as ur fans show the ned etho's very well. The highlight of Hibees season the last few years is an away match to Motherwell, for one simple reason a battle at the station.
Its all about class reaching Europe and it's not suprising that Gaswegians have more class than theachters even gers fans , even tho i seen an orange walk today & had a good time.
