Odonkor played already for the U-youth squads.
Nowotny got good reviews in the few games he played. Wörns disqualified hisself in the press so the way for a new "oldie" was open. You probably know that he visited Klinsmann`s latest fitness test.

Odonkor plays for Borussia Dortmund, and Nowotny plays for Bayer Leverkusen.
