The TV presenter resigned because he is accused of boosting Juve's image :D

Might aswell just sack and investigate anyone and everyone who has ever talked or even look at someone from Juve

The thing is, these guys wouldn't be resigning like this if there wasn't some really bad dirt about to come out....

thats the scary thing about....but if other teams are involved then they should all be punished the same to warn what can happen in the future. Imagin though Serie A without some of the biggest clubs.

They're also looking at Nedved and Jankulovski now, in addition to Buffon, Cannavaro etc.

This is far-reaching, which means that it's been around for ages and someone must have known, but authorities ignored it (or were paid off).

Which also means that this timing of all this coming out right before the WC is very suspicious to me. Why now??? (yes, I'm part Italian, conspiracy's in the genes  )

Oh man! I had £2000 in shares in Serie A teams, they have gone down the drain!

Naw, they already mentioned Roma too.
I bet Livorno's the only one that stays clean and ends up on top. Yay Lucarelli!

Is Serie A like the WWF of football or something? :p

If Juve were stripped of the last two scudettos, why would the team/s finishing in second place get the tiltles instead? Wouldn't the last two serie A campaigns be null and void. Personally i think that would be far more satisfactory, than awarding scudettos to a team/s that didn't finish first.

Part of me almost wants a team to get punished (obviously not Juve :) ) and relegated, because if no team is penalised, then no one in Europe would be able to take Italian football seriously again :( Can you imagine the fuss, if after all these investigations, not a single club is held accountable.

Dogme you said it exactly how it is in my mind. This is what I posted in another thread somewhere about how no club is held accountable or just one man has to take the blame. Im not having it or believing it. If the organazation wants to be taken serious, well serious actions have to happen. The "example" if you will.

So far this was a bad year for me in every league I follow:(
Hopefully some upsets in the world cup will cheer me up:D

The thing is if you put all the teams involved into Serie B it would make Serie A worthless in away. Serie B would then become the prime comp due to having all the big name clubs in it.

Not after the Salary Cap was put in place. No one could afford the teams they have.

I know we would lose 90% of our players but i still think we'd be able to attract decent players to juve that would achieve success in bring the old lady back to Serie A.
