Lovenkrands Leaves

Peter Lovenkrands has rejected the opportunity to stay with Rangers and will move to German club Schalke 04.

The 26-year-old Danish forward, who moved to Ibrox six years ago for £1.3m from AB Copenhagen, leaves Glasgow under freedom of contract.

"Peter is left-footed, lightning quick and has an eye for goal. He will increase our options going forward," said Schalke manager Andreas Muller.

"Schalke is a big club where I want to win titles," added Lovenkrands.

S04 did big transfers during the last periods and spend alot of money, so they claim to be a top team but they wasted too many coaches in the past.

Later during this season the press found out that the club management
invested their private money in the transfers.
Im not 100%sure but i think that was the reason why they kicked out
club mascot "Mr. Schalke" Rudi Assauer in the middle of the night.
He was ment to be the one informing the media.

They have very big competition in the attack this year!
I dont know much about Lövenkrands but
Halil Altintop was one of last years topscorer and Larsen is very promising.
I dont have to mention Asamoah and Kuranyi ;)

I dont know if Schalke plans to sell one of them and get some transfer revenues
but Peter Lövenkrands might signed for the bench.

He's fast but not intelligent.Best position is through the centre of attack or maybe slightly withdrawn from the front line.In no way is he a winger.
