Danish media is linking Elmander with Rangers. Elmander is by far the best player in the Danish league, and will without a doubt be a major loss. What do you Rangers fans reckon? Have you heard anything? Any Scottish papers, that have mentioned this?
And do you think he would be a good signing?
Here are his stats. (http://www.brondby.com/player.asp?sid=110&id=#) He plays offensive midfielder, and sometimes striker, when we have injuries. He has played 74 games and scored 29 goals.

This is great news!! Raff67 wont be happy:p
How much is 30million kroner?
EDIT:approx 3million pounds.........I don't buy any papers so don't know if it was mentioned.I hope not.......Rangers should be taking control of this stuff instead of letting newspapers who slag us non stop making money from the fans.Looks like PLG means buisness!

Nice one.I saw a couple of Brondby games in the last couple of months and to be honest I don' recall the lad........probably because it was in Danish and I wasn't particularly looking out for him.
The deal isn't complete yet,is it?

The deal isn't complete yet,is it?
Nope, basically because the share holders/stock exchange needs to be informed or something to that effect.
Edit: BTW, Graveson to Celtic ?

He is mentioned on Ranger's official site. Michael Laudrup is recommending him http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Home/0,,5,00.html
You have to be registred at the site to read it though, maybe one of ya can post it here?
OH... and since you all have Brian Laudrup as your favorite player, then watch this:

Another Title racked in the realms of history this season for the Mighty Celtic , Especially once we get rid of dead weight Hartson. ;)
Brian Laudrup At Rangers was a big fish in a wee pond, he left & couldnt muscle the fight from getting eat & drowned in the big pond of life & and ran away home to his mommy because he was a wee fish in the dressing room.;)

Yeh sure Elmander could easially be a Kings Courtier, not that i was suggesting otherwise, as i knew of him before this proposed signing to Rangers, but for 1 thing with the latest Rangers signings lately, The Hoops aint losing sleep over the summer or quality drinking time.
Celtic League Champions 2007 , no top quality French manager shows up & shops and shows light work of our league "it aint that fkn easy".

Well... the rumours are still flying!
http://www.bolddk.com/nyt/?vis=57883&fanmail=true
A Swedish paper reports that Rangers have made a bit of £2,7 million and wants to sign Elmander on a three year contract. Apparently Rangers are leaving for a training camp in South Africa in two weeks, so they want to rap it up before that. It's reported that Brøndby has accepted the offer...
I think that 2,7 is a bit cheap, but the market isn't the best these days. Unless it's Chelsea, of course...
Also there is all these stories just floating around

EDIT:
just found this: http://www.aftonbladet.se/vss/sport/story/0,2789,852074,00.html
Same price, new source...

Reportedly Brondby are holding out for £4M quoting interest from Dortmund and others. No bids except ours as far as I know.
Hope we get him but Murray (chairman) and Le Guen have been extremely prudent in their summer buys. Cant see the deal going through unless Brondby drop to around 3M or even less
It's highly unlikely that Dortmund is interested in another striker, they've already signed Alex Frei and another striker (forgot whom atm :p), and I doubt they have any money left.

I agree with Sam. Dortmund is not in the picture.
It's Rangers or at least another half season at Brøndby.
And why are you talking about Brøndby have to drop to 3 million or less, PortGlasgow?
All the papers are saying 35 swedish million. That's 2645617.53 GBP.
That's well cheap for Elmander!

Le Guen has valued him at 2.5M whether Elmanders agent is trying to hike up the price by name dropping is anyone guess.

Saying in regards to what, the price of Elmander or what were offering?

3 Million came from my opinion as above

Fuck him.;)
If he wants to play for a team that have no chance of even UEFA cup football, never mind CL football, good luck to him.Toulouse ended 43 points behind Lyon last season and only 8 points above relegation.
If that's his level of ambition then I'm glad we found out now.Of course, being Swedish,he could be going for the sunshine and cheap beer plus French floozies.:p

I don't understand him either. He is a fighter with great technique, so I thought Rangers would be perfect for him.
But who knows...
Edit: Maybe it's because he knows that he will be the big star and play all the time?
