Updates and information from the swedish world cup camp. :)
The Swedish Team has arrived in Germany. http://mysmiles.ru/3dflagsdotcom_swena_2faws.gif
They live at the luxurious Park Hotel in Bremen.
http://www.dn.se/content/1/c6/54/98/96/tysklyx445.jpg
There are flags and signs everywhere in the city: "Hello Sweden, welcome to Bremen!"
People in Bremen may see Zlatan or Mellberg at their local coffeeshop,
the hotel is situated in a park only 10 minutes away from the city centre.
But otherwise they would like to concentrate totally on football and ask people to have that in mind.
"Everyone here is friendly. We have been welcomed in a great way here in Bremen."
It's a bit cold in Germany, they say - but that's something they're used to from back home.

Im still pissed off that Christoffer Andersson and Alexander farnerud isnt in the squad,Andersson would be great as a right back. Instead we got jonson and alexandersson.
We're getting closer, and closer.

I don't know much about alexander farnerud, but I totally agree about christoffer andersson. he's been playing great as right back in lillestrøm no doubt he's got good enough skills to play for sweden (or at least be in the squad). he's quality

I wouldn't be too concerned until we know the result on Saturday.
That game we'll have to win.
Edit.
Some fun stuff, if the swedish players had been brazilians...
Manager: Lobo Lagerback
Goalkeeper: Isak Santos
Nelson Mikéle - Teddy Lúcio - Mellbergo (c) - Edmanão
Chipilinho - Kime Calstro - Linderózo - Fredilunho
O Larzon - Zlato Ibrahimo

News from the team.
Linderoth rested on yesterday's training because of a small injury in his thigh.
Isaksson also took it quite easy and let Shaaban and Alvbåge play instead of him.
They are two key players in our defence and we need them to be 100% ready on Saturday.
Trinidad & Tobago looked like a very physical team playing on the edge of what is allowed from what I saw from their friendly a few days ago.
This is bad news for both teams. My prediction which I don't want to become true is: T&T will get two men sent off on Saturday because of their RECKLESS way of tackling the players and Sweden will maybe because of that get a key player injuried so that he can't play Paraguay.
We also have to look out for some of their strong forwards. If they get a good chance they will score so we need to punish them first with a couple of Zlatan-Henke-goals. 3-1 in favour to Sweden would be an OK result.
The very physical play by T&T and the risk of us having "a sleeping defence" are the worst enemies of Sweden on Saturday.
Did you know that a commercial swedish TV-channel broadcasts all the morning training of the swedish team live everyday? There was one reporter from BBC present yesterday and she was surprised by the lack of security compared to the english camp.

And at the same time the Swedish reporters are complaining about the lack of openness. :)

You can't win whatever you do for the press.

If Linderoth gets injured then imo we are screwed.

Linderoth and Isaksson are fine. They will play on Saturday.
Some swedish players had a coffee at a square in Bremen yesterday.

Has Mellberg lost the beard? I wonder if it will affect his game!

Edit.
IMPORTANT NEWS
Andreas Isaksson won't play on Saturday. His injury from the training a few days ago affects him too much.

Nah, he will brush off any defender anyway, or at least be like a sticky beard in their neck.
Here's btw a picture of Zlatan Ibrahimovic training his "special move".

so Shabaan to start on saturday?
We don't know that yet.
I would choose him but both he and Alvbåge are nowhere near Isaksson.
Imo, there are no undisputed "number 2", only two "number 3" goalkeepers.

Acording to Danish media, Alvbåge will start. He has been well good in the Danish league... So don't feel too bad :)

It has gone 13 908 days without Sweden losing to England in football.
Will the spell be broken on Tuesday? No
Sven-Göran Eriksson has said in swedish press that he wants to achieve that for England.
And we all know that he's a magician so let's see what happens....
Here are the twelve games since 1968 - when Sweden lost on Wembley.
1979: Sweden vs England 0-0
1986: Sweden vs England 1-0 - Johnny Ekström (50)
1988: England vs Sweden 0-0
1989: Sweden vs England 0-0
1992: Sweden vs England 2-1 - Platt (4), Jan Eriksson (51), Tomas Brolin (82)
1995: England vs Sweden 3-3 - Mild (11, 37), Sheringham (44), K. Andersson (46), Platt (89), Anderton (90)
1998: Sweden vs England 2-1 - Shearer (2), A Andersson (30), J. Mjällby (33)
1999: England vs Sweden 0-0
2001: England vs Sweden 1-1 - Beckham (28), Mild (44)
2002: England vs Sweden 1-1 - Campbell (24), Alexandersson (59)
2004: Sweden vs England 1-0 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic (54)
2006: Sweden vs England 2-2
