Very similar.Is it a coincidence or are there reasons.I've been reading that Flamengo were formed as a rowing club,is this true? The founders of Rangers were also a group of rowers.Is it just chance that both club logos are similar as it's a very unusual script.

Yes it is, I have a DVD called the history of football and they talk about that.

Those letter for Flemgao mean Clube de Regatas do Flamengo
