i dunno, it has a lot of potential :)

but the fact that teams have to fly 300 mile for an away match is just so funny :D

where exactly is the potential? most asian leagues are amature at best, its almost as if the cup is up for auction, whoever has the most money wins it.

this is a discussion board and i posted my opinion; if you dont like it you shouldn't open threads. now go back to your cave.;)

At least with Australia joining Asia, it can have more serious contenders especialy Sydney who can throw around money with Asia's best

Al Ittihad vs Al Ain in the semifinals should decide the winner.

i kinda feel like ulsan and al ittihad will meet in the final. ulsan has a great player in lee chun-soo. he stared in the tourney with the 3 champions of the c-league, j league, and k-league + jef united. they are kinda weak in the k-league this year but are doing great in cup competition. al ittihad have got a great chance. didn't they just sign borgetti?

Salary capping plays a big part in the A-League, so Bling/Scum FC wont be there just because of "the money". People seem to forget that there really wasn't much seperating the top 7 teams last season... with the only exception to the rule being New Zealand Knights.

To people that say they don't give two shits about this tournament, well duh. You're no-where near the confederation and probably don't know anything about it... so I'm not really sure why you would be posting here at all.

i kinda pissed that the afc took away a second slot for vietnamese clubs to give to australian club. but oh well, maybe this will make the v-league more competitive and hopefully, we can get the corruption out of the league.
