Seems like the dude that proces vidoes at YouTube has died... still waiting for the Super Dave vid to go through!

Download the shiiiite clip of an ace player here: http://d.turboupload.com/d/900743/Super_Dave.AVI.html

Also... our new striker J.P. Peguero got injured last night and is out for 7-8 months. This means that Dave will probably play quite a lot. That is, if we don't splash some cash on a new striker...

You cannot even see which one is David Williams lol!

hahahah awesome Bruun...

- What do you miss most about Australia? The pies?
- How do you feel about giving interviews to random strangers with a handycam?
- When do you plan to move to Liverpool and become a kop legend? ;)
(if Dave inexplicably denies wanting to go to Liverpool OR if you don't want to ask this question then ask him what his Dream club is, who he's supported since he was a child.)

Imran
26-08-2006, 11:57 PM
HAHAHA this is golden!

few questions for the man davey williams-

1) what do ya think of the interviewer- strange? :D
2) what was your motivation or what drove you to sign for this club?
3) what do you hope to achieve with in the next couple of years?

cheers bruunsy

Is the Aussie lassies hotter than the Danish babes?

*GASP*!

Never! Danish babes are the knees to the bees. That's probably why he's there.

I'd like to hear from him what it was like growing up as a part-Aboriginal kid in a culture where there is still a huge unspoken prejudice against indigenous Australians, and how he overcame those obsticles to get to where he is today.

I feel a bit sorry for him actually, seems like you floored him with my question at the end and it took him a bit of quick thinking to come up with something. I think his answer was a bit immature, but that will come in time :)

Great work Bruun. I might have to come and watch him play some time soon.

[edit]Haha, on a second viewing, why did you choose to put your own questions under the guise of being asked by Saurabh from India? :D[edit]

savvas
28-08-2006, 09:55 AM
He tends to go out wide alot from what I see in this Video, I don't know if he was playing striker or not though?

The interview is in the bag!!!!
That's right motherfuckers...
I got the Dave interview! :D :D :D

But it's not all good news :(

My printer wouldn't work with me this morning, so I had to write the questions down on a piece of paper. That took me a while, so I ran late for the game. Arrived 20 minutes in and Dave had already scored!!! :( He had been alone with the keeper and put it in the net, like it was the easiest thing in the world. He had some other chances in the game as well, which you can see here!

savvas
28-08-2006, 09:59 AM
lol, I got the other video working my internet explorer is a bit fucked up it sometimes it freezes when I go on a website that uses Java for example or flash player

Anyway Thanks alot Bruun for the video I know I will enjoy watching this:D I would Rep you but I have to spread more points around before giving more to you!

Edit: I watched the Interview, very good, i'm sure a Australian Newspaper will employ you soon;) Dave sounded very nervous through out the interview definately will need to get some more of Bruun's interviews if he wants to play for Liverpool someday;)

Hehe... I don't know if it floored him, but he certainly didn't know what foot to stand on! Eh... eh... I was great... eh... I got stuff for free :D I deliberately had it as my last question, because it was the only serious question and I didn't know how he would react. But turned out okay!

Haha... well, I just thought I'd throw in some MFF names, to make it more fun to watch :) Start off with Imran C from Sydney, then Saurabh from India, Fenianbhoy, Savvas from Adelaide, LFCFreak from Melbourne, Lonso from Sydney and then Matt.Morris with the killer question!!!

Haha... I was laughing a bit there, as well!

Well, that last question really did come straight out of the blue. Talking about what he misses from Australia and then bang! Deadly serious...

Oh yeah... if you want to download the interview, it is available here:

PS: Thinking about contacting an Australian sportsnewspaper, and hear if they are interested in me becomming their official Dave W. reporter :D

It's a good idea, but I really doubt they would be all that interested.

Established big-name stars in the A-League/EPL/Prima/etc. rarely get publicity as it , so I will think it will be a few years yet until he's setting the world on fire and making media interviews etc. a common occurance :)

The thing that annoys me a little is the fact that he came off in the interview as seeing Brondby as a stepping stone club, and didn't really have any club pride or loyalty. He did the same thing to Queensland Roar after being signed in January this year.

With media speculating about an overseas move, Williams reaffirmed his commitment to the Roar.

“Eventually I’d like to go over (to Europe), but at the moment I’m focussed on playing for Queensland Roar. There were other choices, but basically staying here with all my friend and family, plus playing in front of the Suncorp Stadium crowd is exciting and I’m really looking forward to it.”

7 months later he's in Denmark.

We'll see what happens. Hopefully he matures and settles sooner than later, because impatient ambition has killed the careers of way too many footballers in the past.

Yes he is a legend. This thread has come a long way. But the fun has just begun.

Wonder if Dave is a chance for the Kuwait squad. There's talk of Elrich and others getting in even though they're not playing 1st team. But it probably won't happen yet.

That's great Bruun, good to see a young bloke doing well over there, and great to see your dedication in bringing his adventures to us!

If I could say anything from the video, get a tripod, and edit it so the start of the questions is the start of the interview (not camera facing the grass and asking if you can ask him questions). I'm not meaning to sound fussy, I'm actually meaning that with some more professional looking footage I have no doubt that it'll make it onto SBS here!

Thanks for all your coverage so far (I've been reading this thread for a long time!), and keep it up!

Great to see a fellow aussie being so keenly watched, one question on the Wikipedia site it said he signed for Queensland Roar but he is now at Brondby, is he on loan to you guys or did he sign for you? I would really like to see him in the A-league or representing the seniour side i think he has the talent, and the way the brondby fans have taken to him he must be really exciting to watch.

Hey Brunn a bit off topic but what did you think of Johan Absalonsen when he was at Brondby?

tevez17
11-11-2006, 06:16 AM
He was a HUGE talent and was chased by Real Madrid and other big clubs back when he was 16. Turned out to be an average player. He got plenty of speed, but just isn't that good a player. He never grabbed the chance at Brøndby and now he is at OB, where he isn't in the starting 11. He is still young, but don't really expect him to do anything great with his career.

PS: Dave is in the squad for the match against Silkeborg tomorrow. Expect him to play...

Thanks for that mate... Not a Brondby Fan but i like to keep an eye on young talent was thinking the that 2 Johans (Elmander & Absalonsen) were going to be great for you ... didn't quite work to play i guess..

A 2-3 victory for Brøndby away against Hammarby in the Royal League.

Davo got 83:19 minutes on the pitch and did alright. Nothing big, I would give him 6.5/7.0 on a scale from 1-10.

Nice to get a win though, and I think Dave will play again next week, when we face Hammarby at home

It's a shame that because if he's not playing then it means he has little to no chance of making the squad for the Socceroos Denmark friendly.

hmmm... sounds like a good idea loaning him out to Melbourne for the last few games until the finals, he can be on the bench as an impact player. Since we already have Allsopp and Thompson who have been playing well together up front so there is no point of ruining it.

only know of Paul Mellas. Played with him through club soccer then against through school soccer. He's a year older than dave. He also came from Mitchelton in Brisbane, Australia. Being told from mitchelton mates that the coaches there hooked Paul up with a team in Finland i think, he called Dave and Dave said to come visit Brondby for a kick at training. Yeah, He may not be that special in some peoples opinions but in the A-League he is one of the top strikers. He has been playing well in the A-League in my opinion. Just saying that for Melbourne Victory he combines well with his striking partner Allsopp and has so all season so there is no point of changing the strikers around now since those 2 have been doing just a good job for Melbourne Victory.
P.S Between them they have scored 16 goals with 9 assists in 16 games played so far in this A-League season. Mind me Melbourne has scored twice as many goals exactly this season. But still this is a good effort comparing to last year were they only got 10 goals and 7 assists between them for the whole A-League season.

http://www.theage.com.au/news/SPORT/Olyroos-selected-for-Olympic-qualifier/2007/01/25/1169594421494.html

Olyroos coach Robert Bann has promised his side will not underestimate Chinese Taipei when Australia opens its 2008 Olympic qualification campaign in Adelaide next month.

Football Federation Australia has announced its under-23 squad for the first match of the two-legged playoff with Chinese Taipei on February 7, with all but two players from A-League clubs.

The squad will go into camp in Adelaide from Monday, with players participating in the A-League finals series - including the likes of Mark Milligan (Sydney FC), Nathan Burns (Adelaide), Stuart Musialik (Newcastle) and Adrian Leijer (Melbourne) - to be released for matches.

Danish-based striker David Williams is the only overseas-based player in the squad.

"We don't know a great deal about Chinese Taipei and though we will be focusing primarily on our own preparation we will certainly not be underestimating our opponents," said FFA Technical Director and under-23 coach Baan.

A separate squad will be selected to travel to Chinese Taipei for the second leg of the playoff on February 14.

The winner of the playoff will progress to the group stage of qualifying.

They will join Iran, Saudi Arabia and Jordan in group D with the 24-team second round qualifying running between February 28-June 6.

Only three teams from Asia will play at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Australia under-23 squad to play Chinese Taipei in Adelaide on February 7: Leigh Broxham (Melbourne Victory), Mark Bridge (Newcastle United Jets), Nathan Burns (Adelaide United), Billy Celeski (Bulleen Zebras, Victoria), Robert Cornthwaite (Adelaide United), Adam D'Apuzzo (Newcastle United Jets), Spase Dilevski (Queensland Roar), Bruce Djite (Adelaide United), Ben Griffin (Queensland Roar), Labinot Haliti (Newcastle United Jets), Ben Kennedy (Newcastle United Jets), Vince Lia (Melbourne Victory), Adrian Leijer (Melbourne Victory), David Micevski (Perth Glory), Mark Milligan (Sydney FC), Stuart Musialik (Newcastle United Jets), Kristian Sarkies (Melbourne Victory), Nikolai Topor-Stanley (Sydney FC), Tando Velaphi (Perth SC), Dario Vidosic (Queensland Roar), Danny Vukovic (Central Coast Mariners), David Williams (Brondby, Denmark), Ruben Zadkovich (Sydney FC).

Former Anfield trialist David Williams is making a big impression with Danish side Brondby

The 19-year-old forward moved from Queensland Roar to Brondby in May last year and after a prolific spell in the club's reserves has been handed a first-team chance, one that he has taken with aplomb.

"I've scored five goals, started seven times and probably come off the bench about 10 times (in all competitions)," said Williams, rated as Australia's brightest footballing prospect since the emergence of Harry Kewell.

Liverpool were thought to have offered a contract to Williams after a trial in 2005 but the player decided against a move abroad at that stage.

Anfield scouts however are sure to be up to date with his current rapid progress.

Dave is playing for the Australian Olyroos (Olympic team) this Wednesday against Saudi Arabia in Adelaide (Australia)

Qantas Under 23's get overseas boost
Thursday, 22 March 2007

The Qantas Under 23s have been bolstered by the inclusion of four overseas-based players for next Wednesday’s crucial Beijing 2008 qualifying match against Group D leaders Saudi Arabia at Hindmarsh Stadium in Adelaide.

Birmingham City midfielder Neil Kilkenny is set to make his debut for the team after making one appearance for the Qantas Socceroos just prior to last year’s FIFA World Cup. Also joining the squad are Hereford United defender Trent McClenahan, Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Nick Ward and striker David Williams of Danish club Brondby, all of whom have already appeared for the Qantas Under 23s during the current campaign.

Also returning to the squad after missing last week’s match against Jordan are Sydney FC defender Ruben Zadkovich, who has recovered from a toe injury, and Queensland Roar striker Dario Vidosic.

The squad also includes two players from outside the Hyundai A-League with striker Jason Naidovski of the AIS again selected, while midfielder Philip Makrys of NSW Premier League club Bankstown City has been called into the squad for the first time.

Australia lie second in Group D on two points after a scoreless draw against Iran in Tehran followed by the 1-1 draw against Jordan last week in Adelaide. Saudi Arabia sit atop the group on six points with Iran and Jordan each on one point.

The squad for the match against Saudi Arabia on March 28 is:

Leigh Broxham (Melbourne Victory), Mark Bridge (Newcastle Jets), Nathan Burns (Adelaide United), Adam D'Apuzzo (Newcastle Jets), Bruce Djite (Adelaide United), Ben Griffin (Queensland Roar), Troy Hearfield (Newcastle Jets), Neil Kilkenny (Birmingham City, England), Vince Lia (Melbourne Victory), Adrian Leijer (Melbourne Victory), Philip Makrys (Bankstown City, NSW), Trent McClenahan (Hereford United, England), Mark Milligan (Sydney FC), Jason Naidovski (AIS), Kristian Sarkies (Melbourne Victory), Nikolai Topor-Stanley (Sydney FC), Tando Velaphi (Perth Glory), Dario Vidosic (Queensland Roar), Danny Vukovic (Central Coast Mariners), Nick Ward (Brighton & Hove Albion, England, loan from QPR, England), David Williams (Brondby, Denmark), Ruben Zadkovich (Sydney FC)

OMG Bruun I got to see Williams in the flesh! He only came on the second half and didn't get a lot of supply but yikes you could tell all of a sudden that there is something special here, well I hope so the Socceroos will need all the young talent for the future. He was fast, skilful with the ball, and hit a very nice shot that just went wide to the right of the goals. I hope I get another chance to see him in 6 weeks time vs Iran, though not sure if his club will let him go, probably helped with the international matches on the weekend.

Keep up the good work, I did look at updates last year but now that I have seem him live I will make sure to read your posts more regularly. I am on the bandwagon. :)

DAVE scores 2 goals for Australia`s Olyroos!!!

The Australian under-23s soccer team have laid on a dominant second-half display against Jordan to secure a position in the third and final round of qualifying for the Beijing Olympics.

The match, in Amman, was scoreless at halftime but the Olyroos racked up four goals after the break to take the points and claim first place in their group.

David Williams bagged two goals with Nick Ward and Dario Vidosic also finding the net.

Australia will now progress to the third stage of qualification which begins on August 22.

The third stage features three groups of 12 teams each.

Only the winners will go on to Beijing to represent Asia at next year's Games.

Williams: Play Me Or I Will Quit

Ben Somerford

Jul 1 2009 13:20

Young Australian striker David Williams has stunned his Danish club Brøndby after claiming he will leave the club in three weeks if he doesn't get more first-team opportunities.

The 21-year-old former Brisbane Roar forward, who made his only Socceroos appearance against China in June 2008, endured a frustrated 2008-2009 season in Denmark after a bright start to the campaign.

Williams told Danish football website bold.dk, "I'm in a difficult situation. I am 21 years-old and I have to play football. I have not developed in the last six months."

Williams started last season well for Brondby, playing 10 matches and scoring one goal before seriously injuring his knee in a training mishap in September.

The Australian then fought his way back to fitness after the turn of the year, only to be frozen out by the newly installed Brondby boss Kent Nielsen.

"I would love to play for Brøndby but when you get treated badly from January to June, it's not very good," Williams added.

"It was really a frustrating spring, also because I never knew why I had no opportunities. I have discussed various opportunities with Anders Bjerregaard (the Brøndby chairman).

"I have said that I will give them three full weeks to see whether I get playing time in the training camps. If not I will have to act quickly."

Williams South Africa Deal On

Ben Somerford

Jul 12 2009 08:36

SOUTH African club Bidvest Wits have revealed they will pursue a deal with Brondby IF for David Williams after they were impressed by the Australian during his trial with the club.

Williams, who is contracted with Brondby until June 2011, was sent on trial in South Africa earlier this month after a public fallout with his Danish club.

Bidvest Wits coach Roger De Sa told kickoff.com, "He is a good player and we will be talking to his club to see if we can agree on a transfer fee or not. But we would like to sign him for the coming season."

The 21-year-old former Brisbane Roar striker has since returned to Denmark but haivng not featured in the Brondby side under new boss Kent Nielsen, it seems the Australian has no future with the club.

According to Danish website bold.dk, Brondby director of sport Anders Bjerregaard was unavailable for comment on the situation.

David Williams re-invents himself in long-term loan deal with North Queensland Fury

http://www.news.com.au/common/imagedata/0,,6717953,00.jpg

By Marco Monteverde

July 14, 2009 12:00am

FORMER teenage prodigy David Williams plans to kick-start his stuttering career with North Queensland, joining the Fury on a season-long loan deal from Danish club FC Brondby.

Williams was yesterday on his way to Perth to link with his new teammates in Western Australia for matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Glory.

Provided he passes his medical, the 21-year-old Brisbane product could line up in attack alongside former Liverpool star Robbie Fowler - whose own fitness remains in doubt - against Wolves at Members Equity Stadium tomorrow night.

Williams, who has one Socceroo cap, is desperate for regular football after falling out of favour with Brondby coach Kent Nielsen.

"I'm in a difficult situation," WIlliams told bold.dk, a Danish football website.

"I have to play football. I have not developed in the last six months."

Only last week he trialled with South African club Bidvest Wits. However, it's understood representatives of Williams felt he would better to re-establish his career in Australia.

It will be Williams's second A-League stint, with the striker having played two games for the then Queensland Roar in 2006 before moving to Brondby, where he has a contract until 2011.

:) Dave will do well in the A-League.

Exclusive: I Can Learn From Robbie Fowler - North Queensland Fury's David Williams

The Australian starlet will have the opportunity to learn from one of the game's greats, up close and personal...

23 Jul 2009 03:20:21

North Queensland Fury striker David Williams says he will be looking to learn as much as he can from Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler during his time with the A-League club.

The 21-year-old joined the Fury on a season-long loan deal recently, after spending three years with Danish club Brondby.

Considered one of Australian football’s rising stars, Williams now has the opportunity to not only earn himself a season of regular first-team football, but also to learn from one of the greatest ever strikers of the English game.

“He’s a great striker, the things he’s done in the past are unbelievable and he’s scored some amazing goals,” Williams told Goal.com.

“I’ve played two games for the Fury, not so much alongside him but I’ve been working with him.

“He plays up-front and I’ve been on the right-wing but hopefully I can move up-front soon so we can see how it all works out.

“I can learn a lot and I’m hoping I can experience a lot from having him in my team.”

Whilst the presence of Fowler as Fury’s marquee player this season did not necessarily impact on Williams decision to return to Australia, the striker says he heard reports about the progress of the A-League during his time in Denmark.

The prospect of first-team football was too good to turn down, though the opportunity to play alongside Fowler was an added bonus for Williams.

He continued, “I knew he was there and it’s a big thing but for me as a career move it was just more game time and exposure, and if I could get that at any club I would go.

“But obviously having a big player like Robbie, it’s a big bonus.”

TOP DOG ... David Williams is convinced the NQ Fury will be an A-League force

ONE of the Fury's most recent signings has seen enough to believe the club is ready to be a competition force in their maiden A-League campaign.

One-time Socceroo David Williams made his North Queensland debut last week in Perth and he said the club was on the improve. Despite losing both games in the Western Australian capital against English Premier League team Wolverhampton and the Perth Glory, the Fury were from disgraced.

The club was unlucky to not snatch a draw with the Wanderers while they were only beaten 1-0 in a tight encounter with the Glory.

Now Williams is aiming to show what the Fury is capable of in tomorrow's first home town game against the Brisbane Roar.

''We won't go down without a fight,'' he said.

''We've been doing well in the last few games, obviously the results didn't go our way against the Wolves and Perth but we can see the team is building really well. I'm glad to be a part of it.''

The 21-year-old played for the Roar before he linked with Danish club Brondby, where he is currently contracted until 2011.

The club allowed him to play in the A-League on a one-year loan deal and the differences between the pre-seasons became apparent very early for Williams - especially training in the heat.

''I feel like I'm doing well actually, it's a bit different to the pre-season over there,'' he said.

''Getting into it is very exciting and I can't wait until the start of the season comes.''

Williams said all of the players were buzzing at the prospect of playing in front of their home fans for the first time.

The match will take on extra significance because of their opposition as well, with the Fury keen to build a strong rivalry between both Queensland clubs.

Williams said he was looking forward to the atmosphere but admitted it would be difficult to line up against his former club for the first time.

''I don't know what to expect come Sunday with the fans but I'm sure we'll get a good crowd of spectators,'' he said.

''For me personally it always will be (weird) if I'm playing in a different team to the Roar, and just being from Brisbane it's a special thing.

''You see the Cowboys and the Broncos still have a bit of a hit-out and things like that.

''I'm sure being in Queensland it's the battle of who's on top out of the three teams.''

Rising Australian star David Williams has revealed his English Premier League dream, saying he will try to use Denmark and the A-League as a “stepping stone” to bigger and brighter things in his career.

The 21 year-old striker recently signed a season-long loan deal with new A-League franchise the North Queensland Fury after spending three full years in with Danish club Brondby.

And whilst he plans to return to Denmark at the end of this season, it remains but a means to an end for the ambitious Indigenous Australian.

“To get to England and places like that you need stepping stones to get there,” Williams told Goal.com.

“If you’ve got bucket-loads of talent you can go straight there but no-one’s ever really going to go straight from the A-League to the Premier League so stepping stones is the way to do it.

“It takes time, commitment and hard-work and obviously Denmark and Brondby is one of those stepping stones for me.

“Maybe there’s two or three more before I get to the top if I’m going to do that. But that would be my dream, playing in the Premier League.”

Fuelling the Socceroo’s dream are memories of a trial with English giants Liverpool earlier in his career, where the experience of playing alongside some of the world’s biggest stars has left the striker wanting more.

“It was a good experience to be in one of the biggest clubs in the world, to be training with some of the big players was great and I’ll never forget that situation and I hope I can get the chance to be at a Premier League club some time soon,” Williams added.

Back in Australia now as he searches for regular first-team football, the former Queensland Roar players sees his return to the A-League as a “boost”, now with the opportunity to perform regularly in front of national team manager Pim Verbeek.

However, despite the lack of exposure of Danish domestic football in Australia, Williams insists that is not the case overseas.

He continued, “Brondby is a club where you can develop and get exposure and it’s not a bad league over there in Denmark.

Playing UEFA Cup and sometimes some of the teams play Champions League. So when you’re talking about exposure, you’re right out there in terms of the club I’m at.”

“I had a really good youth coach while I was there and then moving up through the first team and learning things every week and playing with experienced players there.

“Some of the players play for the Danish national team also and Swedish national team too so it’s obviously a big step for players to go over there but I think I have [also] developed, there’s no doubt about that.”

Hyping him up, I like it. Looking forward to see what Dave can produce this season.

A-League newcomers North Queensland are no closer to appointing a foundation captain but appear to have unearthed a potentially devastating attacking duo in Robbie Fowler and young gun David Williams.

English Premier League legend Fowler was a constant threat in the Fury's 1-0 victory over the Brisbane Roar in both teams' final pre-season hit out at Townsville's Tony Ireland Stadium.

Fowler's 60 minute appearance erased concerns about his fitness ahead of the Fury's season opener against Sydney FC on August 8 but it was the performance of 21-year-old Williams that had the crowd of just over 5000 buzzing.

The lightning-fast youngster, on a one-year loan from Danish club Brondby, worked well with Fowler and created several chances.

"Robbie hit the bar, we had a couple of half-chances but I'm really delighted," Fury coach Ian Ferguson said.

"We will keep building him (Fowler) up so we can get 90-minutes and I am sure he will be able to start the season for us.

Ferguson tried to deflect attention away from the performance of Williams in only his second match for the Fury.

"David is only a young boy and I don't want too much expectation put on him.

"I think he was labelled the next Harry Kewell but you can see glimpses he is a quality player, he works very hard off the ball for the team as well."
Although Fowler and Williams controlled most of NQ's attacking raids it took the Fury until the 87th minute to score when Craig Moore was unable to
control a Jeremy Brockie cross guiding the ball past keeper Liam Reddy.
Afterwards, Ferguson was giving little away on the subject of who he will give the captain's arm band to despite using Paul Kohler for the Fury's inaugural home game.

Paul has been one of our most consistent players over the pre-season and I think he showed some good leadership qualities so I decided to give it to him at the last minute.

Ferguson just keeping a lid on things I see.

(http://img30.imageshack.us/i/williams1.jpg/)Hey everyone - was at the match on the weekend and thought of this thread. Williams was definitely our impact player after he replaced the rather disappointing Daal. He took a some of Sydney's focus off of Fowler which allowed him to exert himself more in the second half. Williams reminds me of Tevez with his tireless running and getting stuck in all over the pitch. He, along with Sydney's Danning, definitely put on a good show for the fans.

Excuse the poor photos - got to the match and realized I had my wide angle work lens on the camera. Better photos next home match.

Hi guys, not sure if this forum is still active or anything but I came across it recently while making a David Williams Highlights video. Some of the info and links you posted were very helpful, so thanks.

If you're interested, the video is on YouTube in parts one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nShkColMi88) (~8min) and two (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmbKsVY9SQk) (~6min) (although it's uploaded onto somebody else's channel).

David is currently `on loan` from North Queensland Fury (who are now no longer a team). He`s playing in the ACL (Asia Champions League) for Sydney FC.
If he does well, you`d assume he would get a Sydney FC contract starting this Sept/Oct.

He should be in action next Tuesday April 5th 2011. Syd FC vs Shanghai.
