I'm not sure whats the point of the 3rd kit in La Liga... they might wear it 3 times the whole season so wtf?!?!

Speaking of which, which one is considered 3rd jersey? black or orange?

the black one is quite plain and I'm not sure is the appropriate 2nd jersey... the orange just says Valencia :)

I like it. Simple but nice. Yeah I have no idea about the third kit. Maybe just an option for when the kits on opposing sides are still kinda similar.

Third kit is for Champions League play and other occasions as such. But we all know that it's there first and foremost for the money it brings in. Look at Sevilla this year they put out 5 (!) kits to bring in some extra cash :D
