do you know where the greyhound central stop is in houston and how far is it from reliant stadium?

I do not live in Houston, nor Texas (and I really know nothing about the area, just trying to help), but this (http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?newaddr=2121+Main+St&taddr=One+Reliant+Park&csz=Houston%2C+TX+77002-8811&country=us&tcsz=Houston%2C+TX&tcountry=us) is what I could find regarding the distance between the two.

A little bit about the station (http://www.onemorebeer.com/transportation.asp#Greyhound%20Bus%20Station).

People here (http://www.houstonarchitecture.info/haif/lofiversion/index.php/t2015.html) were bitching about the place, not really your problem, but I thought I would give you as much information as I could.

Have had my tickets to the Barca game in NY since the day they came out a month ago. I'll be wearing a full barca kit, waving a large flag and singing my heart out with the anthem. I hope people don't think I am crazy.

Hmm...Chauchey's thread go me thinking, what will Barcelona's line-up be on the U.S tour? I wonder if Messi, Zambrotta or Thuram will start.

Hmm...Chauchey's thread go me thinking, what will Barcelona's line-up be on the U.S tour? I wonder if Messi, Zambrotta or Thuram will start.

Apparantly Mundo Deportivo reported yesterday that Puyol, Xavi, and Iniesta join the team on July 31; Ronaldinho, Deco, Messi, and Marquez join the team on Aug. 2 in Mexico; and Thuram and Zambrotta join the team on Aug. 4.

Anyone else have more info on line-ups, training sessions, etc.?

I'm headed to Houston for the most interesting match of the tour v. CA.

Tigres are going to be a disgrace to Mexican futbol. They lost 6-1 to Boca last week.. they lost 3-1 to a MLS team (.......an MLS Team!). I dont know how such a sucky team could have been chosen to play Europe's finest.

It should have been these teams:

Chivas - Will be Playing them..
America - Will be playing them..
Cruz Azul or Toluca

.. that being said. Wont be surprised if it ends 10-0. ;) :p

Thanks for the schedule barcalove. (Where did you get that?) Unfortunately I'm scheduled to leave NY on the 11th. The 11th!! If you guys agree to set up an MFF tailgate outside giants stadium I just might stick around and pay the $50 flight schedule change fee.

Hopefully my knee would have recovered enough from the surgery at least for me to see Barca in Central Park on the 10th. I'm sure you'll have to get there at 10 in the morning to get a good spot and most of the events will be standing room only. I don't know if I can handle that.

Ah well, Barca will be world class for years to come. I'm sure I'll see them again later. Right?...............

FSC has been advertising the Chivas game. I'm assuming they'll show the other two. So, you NY area MFFers, anybody wanna tailgate? Do some Joga Bonito and upload it to Nike.com? They'd put it on the website for sure.

I will be there at about 4PM, :) Maybe we can meet up

Go to the Houtson Musuem of Natural Science. Very nice musuem and is about 15 minutes from the stadium. Too bad Astroworld is not closed because is right across the street from the stadium
Link for musuem (http://www.hmns.org/?r=1)

Nope. He hasn`t played yet. But he will in the next games for sure. Now all the B team players has been sent home. That means no Dos Santos :( Only central defender Olmo stayed coz Zambrotta and Thuram are not quite ready yet.

I was watching the game in HD on HDnet and the commentary was so god awful. Worse than the world cup on ESPN (the color commentator was the same) but the PBP guy was horrible. I eventually had to change to FSC with Max Bretos.

They sent them home, damn i liked watching dos santos, and there's no chance he'll break into the first team in la liga just yet.....damn.

Well yes. Probably he will play 99% games in the B team this season. He gets some first team playing time only when Rafa will get EU pass. Then there is one open non EU spot.

Going to have to compair them to what i see tomorrow watching the competition play in Seattle. ;) Dont worry...i'm only going out of my duty to Barca, to make sure i'm educated on play systems...and stuff....yah. :D That aside, its just plain nice to watch good football. I cant wait to see Messi/Eto'o/Ronnie light it up agian!! :D That run they had between September-January was unbelievable!! I hope it gets repeated. :)

I could hear that clown as well as the guys with the drums (although the drums weren't so bad). There were a bunch of drunk people that started a "OLE, OLE OLE OLE" chant a couple of rows behind me lol. All in all it was really fun though, the Mexican wave thing was crazy.

I know where you were sitting and those red full fans were so annoying. cheers, pics coming later. messi was so funny, his hair cracks me up. a little troll.

The one guy who sticks out in my mind was the Barca fan in last year's yellow away jersey who had his face painted purple and magenta and was carrying a drum. Before the game he was marching through the lower tier screaming "CAMPIONI CAMPIONI WOAH OH OH!"

The wave, especially the one where we got all three tiers at the same time, was a lot of fun.
