View Full Version : Who will win the 06/07 Scudetto?
I'm still going to follow Juve in B at 100%. But it will be interesting to see who wins in A. My vote is for Roma!
I also think Sampdoria will do very well this year.

If Inter don't win now they never will.LOL!! This betting scandal might make me watch Serie A this year. Now that the big 3 are gone, the league will actually be competitive.

I voted other. :D
I hope for a surprise winner, not Inter, Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina or Roma.
Maybe Palermo, home of the classic mafiosos, or Cagliari - los Sardinistas.

I voted other.
Milan have the point deduction.
Roma usually underachieve.
Inter will find a way to screw it up :D
I'm hoping one of the smaller teams will take advantage of this excellent opportunity.
Maybe one of Palermo, Chievo, Udinse or Sampdoria can pull it off!

I will say Inter because honestly I feel that we have the best team.Dont forget that we will never know whether Inter have lost a couple of titles in previous years thanks to external pressure. This year, everyone starts back from 0 and therefore I feel confident.
Roma are a very good and compact team. They need 2 good strikers though.Spaletti is an excellent coach.
Milan will definately have a run at it too.Especially if they get axed from the Cl by Uefa. However they need at least 2 good signings at the back.
Others...........there will be no others.
Milan are winning it. I mean 7 points for fuck sakes, thats nothing for them. That can be made up in no time in my book. Inter will fall somewhere down the line as they always do.

no...but at least we can correctly blame our past failures on juve's cheating:p

The game is won on the pitch. Cheated you say? There were more referee decisions against us than for us. For the last two seasons, we had a better team and players than your argentina all-star line up.

LOL u cant be serious.
Ignore the Intermerdarista, they're so happy Juve is gone they could die. Let them indulge in their false sense of pride and joy. When we are back in A, we will smash them 2-0 and they will shrivel up to where they belong, in 3rd behind their cousins Milan.

a lot of strong words from a relegated team...
wow!
relax a little guys...its football...
comment on the facts, not on what you 'hope' or 'think' will happen...
as it stands, your team cheated to win the last 2 scudetto's and hence they lost both of them and have been relegated
Inter have nothing to do with it..

Yes, now there's a new season coming up. But the italian football will never cease to astonish me.
The sad fact is that Juventus wouldn't have needed to cheat to win the Scudetto as they were too good on the pitch already without any need of help from above but the asshole Moggi thought he was the God of Italian Football and Overlord of the Referees. Snakes like that end up biting their own tail and think it's a trophy they've found.
Now Inter has been given the title from above. Bow in silence and enjoy being "champions" while it lasts. :p
The only way Inter can earn respect from neutrals is to win 2006/2007 but I don't think they will do that.
But I promise to cheer - as usual - for Inter when they play Milan in that great derby of italian football.
Other than that I will watch a number of Serie B-games where a lot of teams will be spanked by an enraged Juve team. I hope for a huge Goalomania from the Leoni11 to show that they are very capable of winning games without any "help" from refs. And that spirit will they bring to Serie A next year. Beware!

No one is envying Inter. Most everyone believes they will fall flat on their faces like the losers that they are. Just names don't make a team, its chemistry and a will to win - something i've never seen them have.
For the last two seasons, we had a better team and players than your argentina all-star line up.
If only they were all-stars! A washed up veron and Kili, overrated cambiasso and Julio Cruz, aging Zanetti -- hardly the cream of the argentinian crop.

I think AC Milan will win it, but I reallly hope that Roma will win.
Milan will win the Scudetto, Forza Milan.
Milan to win. I take Inter as a joke as per every season. Let them buy who they want as it never does any difference. Sooner or later, Juve will progress back into Serie A, reclaim the title and Inter will be forced back into the usual 3rd spot. This is reality of Italian football. Inter have a prefect opportuntiy to win another title before we come to collect. Good luck :)

If Milan manages to bring in some big names over the next few weeks, especially some defenders and a striker, I'd be shocked if they did not win. I know that Inter have been loading up on stars, but it seems more like galactico-style indiscriminate spending designed to keep players away from Milan solely on the basis of their perceived reputation. Inter has never seemed like a team with much in the way of chemistry, and this won't help, so Milan to win with Roma, Inter, and Fiorentina taking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.

milan need good YOUNG defenders asap .. all respect to maldini and costacurta for still being able to compete at the highest of levels but milan need to look beyond a few seasons when neither will be available ... also they need to get a quality striker someone in his mid 20s (ronaldo shud not be bought as the media is suggesting) ... roma might do good this year .. remember that record winning streak they had last year before totti was injured .. i think he'll be hungry for more this year and might take roma where they havent been in the past few years ..... inter well, what can u say ... they bought the 2 players from juve who reportedly fought last year during training and that too under a strict disciplinarian like capello ... also they have materazzi and im sure viera loves him like every other french guy ... my prediction is that they'll start good but after the first few rounds they'll self destruct owing to the lack of discipline in the locker room and training field and i wonder who they'll blame next year for not winning the scudetto ???

Everything shows that we can win the title. We just have to avoid injuries. Roma has a superb starting eleven.
