Thomas Gravesen and Robinho were sent off of the training session by Fabio Capello after the two players exchanged punches in a training match.
A strong challenge and the behavior of Graveson [who has been getting into it with the younger spanish players throughout the pre-season] disturbed Robinho, who answered the Dane with a punch. Graveson reacted quicly with a punch of his own before teammates broke the scuffle up.

any clue what the reason was?
The strong challenge Graveson made on him and then he probably talked shite after. Graveson has been on a streak lately, I don't know why he's walking around with all this anger. There were reports earlier this week and last week that he was getting into it with the young spanish players on Madrids B team almost daily. On one occasion it was reported that he made a strong challenge on one of them and the kid said "Tommy, calm down!" Graveson responded with "If you keep complaining about it next time I'll come harder!" lol.
Oh and I wouldn't count Robinho out, you never know, maybe he knows brazilian jiu-jitsu :p :D

You shouldn't always assume guys can fight just like you shouldn't assume little ones can't. And you definitely shouldn't assume that a person will win just because he's bigger or looks stronger than his opponent. As far as I know, none of us have seen Graveson or Robinho in a real fight so it's obvious most of you are judging the situation on looks...If Robinho is a skilled fighter, he can knock out Adriano. Size means nothing if you know how to fight.

Honestly I don't care.. But no, I can't agree and don't think it's that simple. I don't know who would win since I've never seen either of them fight.
Btw, have you ever watched MMA? The saying "looks can be deceiving" comes to mind when talking about this.

i hate players like gravesen, no skill only dirty tackles, and because of thaat in training they get the run around by the skillfull players and end up losing it.

Have any of you ever heard the expression no pain no game? This happens all the time Puyol vs Vicente, Ljunberg vs Mellberg. This doesnt mean anything cept Robinho cant take a knock he should learn that hes going to get knocked around like that someday hes lucky Gravesen who knows better didnt break him in half. I saw this on Fox Sports Robinho he walked away when Gravesen tried to speak with him Robinho just ran away and sat down, these guys are training very hard and should give it their all that includes Gravesen to be as aggressive as he can be.

You are right in that it "isn't that simple" but you have to look at Robino's personality to understand why people say that he would automatically get owned. He comes across as a pretty happy-go-lucky guy who doesn't have a care in the world most of the time whereas Gravesen literally, not figuratively, has something up his backside. Obviously those things can be deceiving, but I do believe a guy like Gravesen picked up a knock or two growing up.
For the record, the only martial art I can see Robino being adept at is capoeira. :p

two drunk girls came into a park last night where my wife and i were sitting talking. they dropped their pants and pissed not more than 8 feet away from us without realizing we were there. we laughed, they got embarassed and aggressive (like drunks do) and after repeatedly trying to get them to move on and enjoy their night, one of them stood up and threatened to butt her cig out in my face so i went at her and she went at me right away. she was a crazy little one, tough as nails i give her that. by the time the cig was out of her hand she was throwing punches like mad. her friend got some shots in too.
long story short, i got a cut on my nose, a bump on my head and a few scratches, they got a couple of shots in the head while be held on the gound by their throats, a few kicks to the gut, one of them had an earring pulled out (ouch) while getting tossed.
no question i won but when the pepper spray came out i was off. i've been hit with the stuff before and it ain't fun.
my wife stayed out of it because i kind of had control of the situation and she knew a 30yearold male in a 2 on 1 with two drunk girls looked better than two 30 yearolds, one male one female, in a 2 on 2 with 2 teenagers girls.
it was surreal.

I put it down to those years being influenced by Druncan Disorderly.
Gravesson is trying to find his way out of the team.
I hope he leaves as I don't see him contributing anymore... I'm getting sick of his attitude, he wants to leave but he wants a contending team!!

Thomas Gravesen and Robinho have been expelled for Fabio Capello of the evening training of the fifteenth one of concentration in Irdning, after being fought exchanging punches in a party in which the technician of Madrid perfected the tactic.
A strong entrance of Gravesen and the behavior of the Danish midfield player, they unhinged al Brazilian Robinho, that freed a punch al Danish that, quickly, responded when all the companions responded with rapidity to separate them.
Capello called immediately to the two players and sent them to the wardrobes, under the attentive look of Pedja Mijatovic, sports director of the Real Madrid, that witnessed on foot of field its first training after arriving at 14.30 o'clock to the concentration.

I think its the Brazilians in general... I even saw a show on Real Madrid TV that talked about the grounds keeper... all the players just walk by him and say hola... the brazilian are all jokers, one guy fights with him, one guy rolls on the ground as if he is hurt, one guy tries to pull his pants down, etc.... it was actually quite funny.
The brazilians create a fun atmosphere but sometimes they hang out too much together and alienate the rest of the squad!!!

I think Gravesen wants to leave and he has no other way of forcing his way out. with Diara in the picture probably coming next week, it should make Gravesen's movement out of the club much faster now. He might even be part of the exchange deal or just move back to the premiership.
With him in the team now, there is no peace and there certainly will be no harmony in the locker room around him. We ned our players to get along better and Gravesen is seen as the thorn in everyones cheek butt. He might be innocent, but rihgt now, we need what is best for the team. The other brasillians won't like it since it was their little baby pal that got the stick from
El Orgre. Well Becks is their friend and he really does not like the guy all that much. We all know our defensive players don't like him all that much, and the b-team players don't like him that much either. You already get the point.
I want a successfull season, and removing the thorn now can be better for the longterm future and harmony of our players. Regardless the team must come first, and gravesen has disrupted that flow. I think it is about time he takes a Real boat down the Madrid canal. I'm sure he can find his way.
I wish him good luck but also blame our past management for buying this guy. He is no DM, he is a CM and likes coming foward aggressively, that was his trademark style of playing (those that watched him while he was at Everton should know that). Making him to play just as a DM, all that anger and aggressive nature will most likely be converted into what we are already seeing.
Hopefully, with the players we have in our sqad, we should be able to make some blings on our trophy cabinet this year.

PS! That's one helluva story right there matt :p
What next at the Bernabeu (otherwise known as the Theatre of Outrageously Good Off-field Entertainment)?
Our money's on Zinedine Zidane making an unscheduled comeback for the first game of the new season, only to ruin his chances of ever appearing in Madrid again by directing a trademark chest-butt on local hero Raul's wife after having battled his way through the crowd and into the VIP enclosure by lashing out at anyone who got in his way. Watch this space.
