Breaking news!

According to the portuguese media, Co Adriaanse resigns as manager FC Porto.
The team departed today to England to play Portsmouth and Man City without all the dutch staff.
Rui Barros will be the substitute coach probably.

It's about damn time. IMO, Rui Barros would be a great replacement. He has quite a history with Porto and would turn them into a defensive team again. Bring back our 4 defenders! I've actually met Rui Barros and he was very friendly and down-to-Earth. I appreciate what Co Adriaanse did last year but his offensive minded football wasn't right for Porto. Wish him all the best in the future but for now, bring on RUI BARROS!!!

Forca Porto!

Porto needs an experienced manager, not someone like Rui Barros or Jorge Costa . They need to serve their time as assistants before taking on the 1st team duties.

Im happy and sad to see Adriaanse go, i thinkhe is a great coach, im just not sure about his choices when it comes to buying new players, he doesnt seem to have a good eye for it. And he was very stubborn.

I hope we get someone with lots of international/european experience, would love to see Leguen get it but hes occupied in Scotland i think?? There is talk of Pekerman or Camacho?? I think Pekerman would be a good choice :) oh or Jesualdo Fereira

Adriaanse was a genius. Only a genius leaves Diego on the bench and sells him for nothing. Also letting Postiga rot in the B team and loaning him out was also smart.
LOL
What a moron.
