just a quick question...is it possible to buy a barca season ticket for the forthcoming season...if so how do i go about it? I live in England but could watch quite a few of the games and at least this way i'd be guaranteed a ticket for el classico...this seasons squad is shaping up to be one of the greatest ever assembled. Cheers for any info/help.

Barcalove might know it.

Unfortunately you won't be able to get a season ticket for two reasons. It's too late to get one, and there would be many tens of thousands of Barca members ahead of you in the queue who also won't be able to get season tickets, as there just aren't enough season tickets to go around. You will however be able to get tickets to El Classico if you get a match ticket/hotel/plane package with a tour operator. It'll cost hundreds of pounds, but not as much as you might think :) I'm thinking of doing this myself actually.

Dogme is right. For a club like Barça, it's virtually impossible to get season tickets unless you're already a socio.
For games excluding Madrid, you can get tickets a few days before the match, both online and at the office. Unless it's a late Champions League match, or a deciding game in the season, you shouldn't have any problem getting tickets. There used to be machines at ServiCaixa's, but I think these have also been restricted to members (or so I've been told).
For Real Madrid, you can do as Dogme mentioned, or try and get a ticket/carnet on the street before the game. The security is likely heavier, though, and I'm sure they like nothing more than busting a "guiri" with a membership card.

I just looked into getting some VIP Gold tickets - apparantly they can be had for some $1200 USD.

at the end of last season i pondered using my airmiles to go to barcelona for 2 days for a game... my dad travels constantly for business and he can transfer points within the family. but as sweet as it would be to go to barcelona for a match, i would much rather go there for a few weeks.

thanks for all the info...i guess i'll have to stick to going to Wolves games on saturday afternoons!!! it just kills me that it would cost me more to watch a wolves game than it would to go see barca! i really need to move there...its the best city ive ever been to...i feel like crying just thinkin about it!

Does anyone know of a good ticket brokerage comapany in the US or and International one that can get me a great package to go to the classico in March.
If anyone's still interested here's some info you might find useful from Barca's official website:

Glad you mentioned this, I really want to do something like this with some mates. Preferably for a game like El Classico or a big Euro/World cup match...
