Zambrotta gets thumbs down from taxi driver

Wow poor guy lol I never had any trouble getting a cab in Barcelona :p

MADRID, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Barcelona defender Gianluca Zambrotta got his first taste of the footballing rivalry in the Catalan city when an Espanyol fan refused to take him in his taxi because the Italian played for his team's arch-enemies.

The World Cup winner was turned away by one of the waiting taxi drivers at Barcelona airport when he arrived back with the rest of the squad from their pre-season tour of Mexico and the United States on Sunday.

"I don't carry people who come and demand that I take them somewhere nor do I take anyone from Barca," the irate driver told Spanish television. "I'm an Espanyol fan."

A bemused Zambrotta, who joined Barca from Juventus last month, was forced to look for a more willing driver as he tried to make his way into the city. His team mate Ronaldinho, the star of Barca's pre-season tour, had no such problems, however, and was swamped by willing drivers as he exited the terminal building.

hey, Zambrotta was gonna help this guy make his living, if he doesn't want his help because he plays for their rivals. It shoudl be his right to refuse. And I would find it hard to believe that he's the only taxi driver at an airport
