Nani was called in to replace the injured Quaresma for Portugal's internation friendly against Denmark today. Although Portugal lost the match 4 - 2. Nani was Portugal best player on the field, scoring a goal, showing deft touches, clever ball control, and crips cheeky passes.

The Sporting 1st team youngster is 19 years old and has arrived on the internation scene. Vamos Nani!

To be honest I disliked the Portuguese team exibition.. But it's always like this. When Scolari picked the team back in 2002 we lost a lot of games. Then we made it to Euro 04 final. After the Euro we lost another friendly against North Ireland, if I remember well. Then we made it to the quarter final of WC 2006. I Scolari's teams take some time to work in group, but in the end they make good results, so let's just wait and see. We lacked a lot of key players, and in the second half most of the team never played together before, so I think it isn't a case to worry about.

About Nani I really enjoy the kid. Again Sporting is showing to the country that they're the best portuguese football schools :)

I really like Nani, so good to see him get some experience.

with the Sporting Manutd tie up i could easily see him move to united some time in the future :)

How did Moutinho look?
I think he should have been picked for the World Cup squad for depth at central attacking mid.

Moutinho didn't play well at all. He was being bullied off the ball constantly and after the first few minutes went completly unnoticed.

Nani had another wonderful game today in the Qualifier against Findland. His intinct moves and skill ball control, combined well with his determination and grit.
