Off to budapest with my english comrades for a well deserved holiday extrordanaire. Snorting expensive icing sugar of the spines of innocent "would be" asylum seekers is the order of the day. Will take pictures but the chances of my camera being commandered by the hungarian mafia is high IMHO!!!. Cash prize for the boy who has photographic evidence of his balls perched on both eyelids of a smiling beauty. As Scottish custom I will be keeping moral standards high while affording myself the luxory of being absolutely rsoled thus negating any drop in behaviour relying on English misdameanours to overshadow my dispicable advances.
Deportation is likely , welcome maybe??? but a cultured journeyman of my constitution should be able to ride the wave of vulgarity till monday morning and until then I wish you all goodbye :)

Chill in yer kilts, mate. Keep the beer and pálinka consumtion at a low during the daytime and you'll be fine.
Remember that "See ya" means both "Hello" and "Goodbye" in hungarian, in case you'll get deported. . ;)

Poor scots, they live in the distant past....around 1991....
I mean if they're really expecting to find low property prices and house maids in Budapest :rolleyes:
And it's called Central Europe, because that's where it is on the map. ;)

We live in the present and no disrespect to the economy of what u call Central europe, im well aware of the fake proportions of Current world wide map, obviously i was jesting about the loose women from Budapest as i've never even been to Hungry , but too generalise and say Poor Scots Living in 1991 is not right.
As even tho i'd be happy to go back raving to the glorious days of 91 it really is a poor slant on the Scots character.

Ok, I'm sorry, I just felt that the view of those countries in central europe were a bit old. I was there in the 80s before the change and in 1991 and then again last year. It's a nice and interesting place with friendly people.
Just like Scotland. ;)

5£ a beer, that's 70 Sek :eek:, you must be talking about Norway. :D :D :D
But you need to visit that country as well if you like beautiful places and faces.
@Denmark, 22 Dkr, that's 2£ - a nice price for a Tuborg, or is it Harborg?

Raff,
Check out Budapest's finest ex-pat soccer team http://budapestceltic.thehostcity.com/
Maybe it's a bit too late for you, but if you are feeling a wee bit homesick and hopefully you haven't been cheated by the local nightclub and taxi folk or ravaged by the fine Hungarian birds, then try out the newest Scottish bar in Town 'Kaledonia bar' on Mozsár u. 9 close to Oktogon square.
The owner is a diehard Celtic fan 'Patrick'.
