I would be to , on paper West ham have the edge over palermo though
Handoyo, there are toooons of Inter fans in Sicily, I couldn't believe it. I lived there for a month last summer and besides the kids that now follow Palermo, a lot of the older guys, including nearly all my cousins, are big Inter fans.

Technicly you're second(Roma has better goaldifference), but it really doesn't matter. Only two games have been played, so it is early to say who will win serie a. Let's hope Palermo will keep their good form and they break to the top 3. It would be good to see some other teams at the top than Juventus, Inter Milan or AC Milan.
Palermo at the top with 9 pts! Well done rosanera. 11 goals scored in three matches, very impressive.
I'm not trying to insult Palermo cause I actully like their players and for a team that has lost the likes of Toni and Grosso amongst many others. They are very strong and young. I honestly expected them to stay in the top 7 and a long shot for 4th. But lets see how they preform against Inter, Roma and AC Milan. Not to mention EUFA.
Their aquisition of Bresciano and Simplicio from Parma, Diana and Pisano from Samp and Bovo from Roma were excellent.
We could have a contender.
The backline has been suspect though.
7 goals allowed in 3 games isn't too impressive...

Palermo supremo Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that he wants his side to get knocked out of the Uefa Cup by West Ham.
The Italian side hold a slender 1-0 advantage going into the second leg at La Favorita on Thursday, but Zamparini believes Palermo would be better off concentrating solely on Serie A.
The Rosanero have made a solid start to their domestic season, but suffered their first loss of the campaign against Empoli on Sunday.
And Zamparini feels Palermo would probably drop further off the pace in Serie A if they were to progress to the group stages of the Uefa Cup.
"I wish the English side sends us out, because otherwise we will also lose next Sunday against Chievo," he said following the defeat to Empoli.
"This side can't be competitive on two fronts. We have seen this in the turn-over at Empoli.
"The team already had their minds on Thursday and sincerely I don't know what to do about the Uefa Cup.
"I prefer the Italian League."

West Ham has lost they're good team spirit. Mascherano and Tevez might be good players, but when you don't speak english it's hard to communicate with others in England. And how do you keep the team spirit when you can't talk to other team-members.
Mascherano and Tevez comming to West Ham is like injecting steroids in a 100 pound 15 year old nerd with no brass.
I disagree, even without Mascherano and Tevez, West Ham have a fairly strong team with plenty of young potential. Even before the transfers, I was worried about Palermo's chances - glad they proved me wrong :)
What I meant was that need to adjust to the team before they see any results.
2-0 against AC Milan AND 4-3 over Fiorentina ties Palermo for 1st place with Inter.

Yeah, I'm not optimistic of Milan's chances. Being Sicilian, I will proudly wish them luck. I doubt they'll get first place, but I really like their chances of getting a CL spot for the next season. What a proud day that will be for all Southern Italians :)

No, when Palermo were promoted to Serie A in 04/05, that was their first time in the top-flight since 1973! Last year's UEFA Cup was their first ever big European competition. Guidolin and Zamparini have done a marvelous job with the club. When I was there last summer, the majority of the older people were Inter fans (because Palermo were always in the C1/C2 divisions), but Palermo's popularity has skyrocketed over the past few years and all the younger kids are Rosanero fans. I really hope they can win the scudetto one day, they'd be the second ever southern club to win it, Napoli being the only other.

Nothing personal, but I just don't like Inter, obviously. Besides the traditional rivalry, the Inter ultra incident in the CL against Milan really got me angry. Obviously that's not how the majority of their fans compose themselves, but nonetheless, I dislike the club.
But you can take solace in the fact that I dislike Juve much more :p
