As the Premiership season unfolds we are looking to gauge how you think every Premiership manager is performing. Are they doing a good job at the helm, or are they letting the fans down? Simply vote in the poll on each manager's page and we'll then track each boss across the season. Is a manager displaying tactical genius or sheer ineptitude? Remember, take into account what each coach is expected to achieve this season compared to the team's results along with problems they might have with injuries.
This is a new section in soccernet.com where you can vote on whether you think a manager is doing good or bad in the EPL. So far for this month Harry Redknapp, David Moyes and Martin O'Neill are tied for the lead with a 88% fan approval rating followed closely by Sir Alex Ferguson and Steve Coppell each with a 87% fan approval rating.

Go here to vote and see how the list stands at this moment (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/et/managers?cc=5901).

I suppose you could also use this thread to have discussions about managers in general. Who's been disappointing? Who's been surprising? Who's the next to get sacked? Who's the next great EPL manager? Things like that.

IMO the most disappointing so far has been Rafa. While I was one of many who knocked their summer signings, they still do have a class squad. They are clearly underperforming so far, and I think it's in large part to Rafa Raneiri's tinkering. Not to mention sitting stars so they can rest midweek. He needs to worry less and manage more, imo.

I've noticed this year that Jose is waiting longer to make subs too. Not sure why, though. I know last year he usually used up two of his subs by the 60m mark, but he's rarely subbing before the 70m mark so far this season.

WTF? Sounds to me like you've been spending too much time at Wanker's corner:rolleyes:

Just messing with you Si...I recognized immediately it was a brilliant freudian slip.
