Before I get to the stuff from this week, I'm still wondering about this from last week's show

This manual for Sorin. What's this about? (I still can't believe we signed him. Villarreal was the perfect club for him)

Is there a rivalry between Enke and Weidenfeller? Are they supposed to take over from Kahn & Lehman? I thought Timo of Stuttgart was the next no.1

I'm happy with the character we showed. 3 of our best defenders are suspended and we still managed to come from behind and get the draw. I was starting to think Thomas Doll was going to be fired. His job is safe for 2 more weeks at least.

And is that marijuana? :D

How can Mintal still be playing for Nurnberg? When you're the league's highest goal scorer, I thought big teams pick you up automatically. I'm happy he stayed but it just seems strange. Maybe Nurnberg asked for too much.

if i remember it right, the manual for sorin was a joke referring to his smart guy image and his will to learn the german language very fast, the translation of its title is like "german for football-artists", the manual is supposed to teach sorin the "football-language" (actually it wasnt even funny at all, you dont really miss anything if you dont understand the comments in the sportschau, often i wish i wouldnt understand them either and i could focus on monica lierhaus and football only).
that weidenfeller and enke thing is just about who takes the place as third keeper in the national team, because after kahn retired hildebrandt became the second keeper. löw has already decided that its gonna be enke.

Hej mate,
concernign Hildebrandt I can tell you that he is out of the Germany squad for the time being. Enke will replace him being the second keeper behind Lehmann. Weidenfeller would be my choice though. Hildebrandt did not show good performances the last months, and it was about time to re-order the goalies I think.
Hamburg did not start well this season, but I don't think Doll's job is in real danger. They had bad luck, too many red cards already at this early stage of the season as well. They will play better soon, the present two-week-break comes at the right time for them. And yes, it is Marihuana ;) why are you wondering???
What I found interesting is that there are people who speak about a crisis in Dortmund!? Did anyone hear about this? I mean they did not play very well, but it was not bad either (2 wins, 2 defeats and 2 draws). I saw the game against Hanover, and it was not that bad in my opinion. The only thing I would criticise is that the team is not yet fit enough to play well and in an offensive style for about 90 minutes.
P.S.: Question: do we have to make this a spoiler thread when we discuss such things? Do not really know much about this procedure :o

 Sorry  ,
I think I have to revise myself. Hildebrandt is still in the squad. Don't know where I got that wrong information from  But still, I don't think he will be the second keeper for a long time.

What I found interesting is that there are people who speak about a crisis in Dortmund!? Nelson Valdez isn't the best striker in the world but I don't think there's a crisis at Dortmund. The real crisis is that new jersey :p
P.S.: Question: do we have to make this a spoiler thread when we discuss such things? Do not really know much about this procedure :oI think Sportschau implies spoiler but I'll put spoilers in the title next time.

Bremen vs. Gladbach
What was the history segment about this week? Was that the biggest win in Bundesliga history?
http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/9076/vlcsnap7662182tj3.png
I know the commentary is stupid but are they blaming the loss to Barcelona on Merteacher's shoes? I think I would blame the loss on Messi & Deco. What's with the hole in the back?

That was a brilliant free kick from Bremen. That's world class stuff. The only better one I've seen was by Brazil in the 1970 world cup final.

naah, that was just the highest victory of gladbach over werder (i guess)

nope, the hole in mertes shoe wasnt used as an excuse for the goal werder received against barca, it was mentioned because he was injured and had an operation.
****CL SPOILER****
btw: werder didnt loose to barca, the game ended 1:1 and barca can be happy with that cause werder played great.
with merte and naldo, werders problems in defending will probably be a thing of the past, they really impressed me against barca, i predict that they will become one of the most solid cb-duos in bundesliga :(

This red card was shown during HSV- Werder Bremen and not Frankfurt,
it was after Mahdavikia kicked a hole into Diego`s knee.

He had serious injury problems =(

He had serious injury problems =(Djibril Cisse has 1.5 legs and Marseille still bought him ;)
There are two things that surprised me out of everything.
#1 Bayern lost to Wolfsburg
#2 Nurnberg are top of the table  Maybe Hans Meier should take the national team job ;)

Mate, thats definately an option in the future. Right now its Löw, that takes probably a couple of years but who knows whats going to happen.
One thing is for sure, Meyer is one of the best german coaches with a shitload of experience.

werder were unbeaten at home for like 40 or 45 matches - then gladbach came.
about mintal:
broke his foot twice within the last season, that's why he only did 3 matches last season (scoring once).
he had offers from some clubs, especially liverpool were interested after 04/05, but their offer was a pretty bad joke (3 million £ for the top scorer of german league, come on ;) ) so we rejected everything and decided to keep him. maybe a mistake, but he is still the absolute fan favorite and a big hero (first ever nürnberg player to win the top scorer title)

i expected something from nürnberg but being top notch after six games
unbelievable.
with mayer as NT coach we would play a lot different but very hard to beat.
too bad mayer has no connections to DFB whatsoever.
so it´s very unlikely that he get´s the job, unless he get the bowl with nürnberg.
