80,000+++ tickets for the Barca v Real Madrid match were gone in 2 hours. Seeing as this is el clasico, I don't know if that's impressive or not

I think thats about as fast as they could possibly go. I dont know what internet sales are like for the club. I know that U2 sold around 20K(18,500 plus floor seating) in 8 minutes here in vancouver. But those where mostly internet sales i think.

Talking about tickets of El Clasico, does anyone know how much they cost and where to get them? I have this dream, which is going to Madrid one day and watch the El Clasico in Bernabeu, so it would be nice if anyone here knows any information related to getting tickets for it.

hhmm.. it's every real madrid fan's dream.. n e ways.. a top place in the Bernabeu would be around 150 euroes.. i guess!!!

Not surprised. When you compare it to other big events, selling out in 2 hours is a very fast rate. Its not easy to sell 80,000 tickets, especially with all the congestion you get from people trying to get one.

I just hope the game itself justifies people spending so much money on it, ie: Barca totally outplay madrid, Ronnie/Messi/Deco and co. put on another spectacle, and Barca win 4-0.
