Do we have a hope in hell? Judging by our injury list, I'd say no :(

There are still plenty of quality players in the squad. People seem to forget that we have more than just the World Cup squad.

For me, it's going to come down to both leadership from Grella, and reaction ability from Graham Arnold... and I don't think either have the ability to pull it off.

its possible but i dont like our chances with kewell, cahill and Neill all out.
but anything can happen.

Neill and Cahill out is a huge blow, arguably the two most important players. Having said that, if our defenders can cope, we should be able to have a good chance.

Grella and Cullina need to start in a more defensive role to stop the fast Ghana attacks, and we need two speedy players on the wings, Sterjovski and Bresciano.

In my opinion we have a fair chance, hopefuly we don't blow it.

Good result, a little unlucky not to take the win. Grella was fantastic, we really missed him once he went off.

agreed. scoreline not reflective of the match. huge slice of credit to kingston [the keeper], although much to my frustration, lol

no statistician. oh well

overall good performance by the socceroos, esp first half :)

Kingston really kept Ghana in the game. After Grella went off it was perhaprs a more equal affair, but before he did Australia were fantastic, and only an in form, and i mean IN FORM, goalkeeper kept them from scoring.

Not a bad result though, when you consider the outs we had for this game. Also a good result when you consider the younger players who got a run against a good side, that should do them some good.

We were great in the first half and then as Grella went off we were as good as what was infront of us and 2nd time now that Calamity Swarz has done it.

I don't think it was really Schwarzers fault, Kisnorbo backed into him and knocked the ball free.
