View Full Version : Sydney vs. Adelaide.
Anybody go? Good atmosphere. The best thing though was that Sydney won. Stupid mistakes by Adelaide cost them the match. The Adelaide pass back to keeper was pretty shameful refereeing.
Sydney 2 - 1 Adelaide.
Great result for Melbourne. Now we have a solid 12 points lead over Adelaide but don't know how much over Sydney.
Pretty bitter about not being selected for Champions League though, very, very unfair and the Adelaide and Sydney supporters must admit that it is very unfair for us.

I know its all Frank Lowy because he owns part of Sydney FC and the cunt wants Sydney to go through so he can benifit. Sorry just fustration, My opinion, Melbourne deserve to go through, Sydney won last year and deserved to win but this year Melbourne Victory they are clearly better than any team in the A-League currently this season and deserve to represent Australia. They are a better chance than any other team from Australia to win the champions league. Well, it just looks like Melbourne is going to have to do this all over again. It just seems right now that Melbourne would do better than any other team in Australia in every aspect, the fans, the team etc.
I'm a bit of topic right now, but continue on about the game on sunday.........

Half of all goals in the A-League are mistakes. I cant watch Adelaide's shite keepers play either.
Yeah. Seriously, the FFA must be spewing because we will be able to outdo all the teams in every department. Our fans are 2nd to none in Australia, we hold the top 3 records and our fans travel all the way to bloody queensland. We bloody took over 2/3 of the away section in Sydney and a good 200 - 300 will be traveling to Adelaide. Still very bitter.

lol, Melbourne is good, i'm from Adelaide, and i've been to Sydney for a holiday and Melbourne, now I live here and i'd have to say that I like Melbourne much better than Sydney but I guess i've been in Melbourne longer than I have been in Sydney, but still.
Edit: And it shows that everyone else is too lazy to take the drive to support there teams.

Can't really blame anyone though, to get to places it takes a plane or else a 9 - 11 hour bus train ride. In other nations its like one hour train ride from one side of the country to another. So yeah damn Australia's too bloody big with 90 per cent of it unlivable.

True, but it would be good to see in the finals how many away fans come to watch their teams

I hope we have good fans :( Well even if we start losing a couple of game i still think we can get 20,000 per game minimum.

Well, I still go for Adelaide but I live in Melbourne so I give my support to Melbourne Victory. What can I do I don't have the chance to watch Adelaide anymore so I watch Victory and support them at the matches. As long as Melbourne isnt playing Adelaide its all good.
