First, thanks to jak914 for letting me know about this forum.
I ran across this BBC article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6190530.stm) this morning and wanted to get your feedback since the money issue is one that never completely goes away. Since German clubs are structured differently than other European clubs, is this criticism even valid? What are your thoughts?

money will always be an issue. abrahmovich's money has def changed the market completely! his concerns are valid but its a double-standard a bit b/c bayern are the 'big' spenders in the bundesliga and in germany.
I personally dont like it (gross spending of Chelsea on players) but the guy sounds more jealous than anything. If Bayern had that much spending power it wouldnt be an issue to him and at the end of the day it isnt how much money you have but how you spend it. If you want the big tv deals then make the club more marketable and bigger offers may come.

tv deals in the bundesliga is a lot different. there is only one deal for all the clubs whereas in the other countries the clubs negotiate on their own. so every team in the bundesliga get an equal cut from the tv deal.
