I dont see how or why he would join Bayern
Santa Cruz,
Pizarro,
Podolski,
Makaay
I dont know how he'd fit in
unless we played 2-3-5 or 4-3-4

'It'll be all-out attack in the New Year'
12.12.2006
Sundays in the pre-Christmas Advent period are traditionally quiet and contemplative in Bavaria, but that was emphatically not the case on the second Sunday in Advent for a handful of thrilled Bayern fan clubs, winners of a visit from one of the players or officials in an annual prize draw. Uli Hoeneß always draws one of the largest and most animated crowds, and that was the case again this year when the general manager dropped by a fan club event in the Upper Bavarian town of Höslwang.
"I hereby promise there will be no more excuses from the moment we start mid-season training ahead of the second half of the season," Hoeneß declared in front of several hundred absorbed fan club members. "All our injured players will be fit again, so the time for apologising will be over. That's when we'll mount an all-out attack."
Keen anticipation
Even before a ball was kicked in anger, the coaching staff had always known the team would have a "tough time" this season, Hoeneß remarked, but the manager is now expecting the players to bounce back after the winter break. "The players know they can do better than this, and have to be a lot more consistent in the Bundesliga."
Hoeneß was bristling with anticipation ahead of Bayern's post-Christmas pursuit of leaders Werder Bremen. "Even if Werder get two or three paces ahead of us, we'll reel them in, have no fear on that score," he intoned, revealing the club may after all delve into the January transfer market: "If we consider it necessary, we'll get involved."
A little Ronaldinho
Whatever happens in early 2007, the champions would be bringing in new faces in the summer, the manager announced. Bayern were preparing to invest "10, 20 or 40 million Euro, but definitely not just on one player." The Höslwang fan club left no doubt as to their Christmas wish-list by presenting Hoeneß with an unusual souvenir gift, a Ronaldinho puppet in a Bayern shirt.
who else is on the shopping list i wonder? :D

well considering pizarro might leave, santa cruz is probably leaving, and makaay is getting up there in age, we might need a striker. i hope he does come to bayern along with other 'stars' in that 40 million that they are looking to spend.

Bayern made an offer already for him according to the offical website. article is in german though...
Yes they did, according to various articles in the press..
His contract says he can leave end of the season for 1,2 Mio EUR.
So if Bayern made an offer, they maybe want to have him now already, which would be the only time Aachen can more money for him.
If he stays at Aachen this season till the end, I hope he`s going to Werder. We´ll see.

Maybe he reminds hisself on T. Rau and A. Görlitz,
those came as promising young talents and found theirselfs playing for Bayern in the Regionalliga Süd -3rd League :p
Schlaudraff has said on DSF today that he has three contracts ready to be signed for a transfer after this season.
He can now decide between Werder, Bayern and Dortmund.

alright that takes care of one transfer, now to use the rest of the 30/40 odd million euros we have available :)
is that before or after Hargreaves is sold?

hargreaves wont be going anywhere :D
at least i hope not
if he moves to man U in the jan transfer window,
Premiership will be won by the Mancs, mark my words
I wonder where the 30,40 mio Euro is going to be spent on now....
I don't see him moving in January.
I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't move at all.
If he wanted to leave, why did he sign a contract extension?

Die Toten Hosen - Bayern
Es gibt nicht viel auf dieser Welt,
woran man sich halten kann.
Manche sagen die Liebe,
vielleicht ist da was dran.
Und es bleibt ja immer noch Gott,
wenn man sonst niemand hat.
Andere glauben an gar nichts,
damit man uns richtig versteht:

Shooting star Schlaudraff opts for Bayern
03.01.2007
Scoring against Bayern appears to be the best possible way of earning a transfer to Germany's most successful club. Roy Makaay showed the way four years ago with a hat-trick for Deportivo La Coruna at the Munich Olympic stadium, and now Alemannia Aachen shooting star Jan Schlaudraff has followed suit.
The 23-year-old, who netted a fine fourth for his current club to extinguish Bayern's lingering hopes of remaining in the German Cup back in December, is to join the Bavarian giants on 1 July 2007. The Germany goal-getter has agreed terms with the reigning Bundesliga champions and will sign a three-year deal binding him to the club until 30 June 2010 as soon as the official winter transfer list is published. The transfer fee for the striker, who can also operate in attacking midfield, is the €1 million stipulated in his current contract.
A momentous step
"We're delighted Jan has chosen in our favour," commented Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "He's one of the most promising young German players around. Bayern Munich offers him an outstanding sporting opportunity."
"I believe this is the right decision for me personally from a sporting point of view," Schlaudraff observed. The swift and technically able player was also a target for Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund. "Obviously this is a big step for me to take, but I see the chance for me to develop my game in Munich and play on the international stage."
Relegation battle beckons
Officials in Aachen welcomed Schlaudraff's early decision on his future. "It's good to have everything clarified. We believe this won't affect Jan's form in the second half of the season. The opposite in fact: we think it will give him a boost," commented Alemannia Director of Sport Jörg Schmadtke. "We're happy we've been able to help him on his way for a while."
"My time at Alemannia has definitely been crucial to my career," Schlaudraff remarked, "and I'm still here. I'm looking forward to the next six months and will do everything I can to ensure I go to Munich with Aachen still in the Bundesliga." The promoted club from the cathedral city on the Dutch border currently lie 13th in the standings, four points clear of the drop zone.
Slippery Schlaudraff
The striker first made a name for himself with eleven goals in Alemannia's successful promotion push last term. The 23-year-old, nicknamed "Boney" for his slight 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in) frame and relatively light 69 kg (152 lb) body weight, has since amassed 14 scorer points (8 goals, 6 assists) in 18 top flight and German Cup appearances this term.
"He's like a weasel. You just can't get hold of him," current coach Michael Frontzeck remarked. The player himself credits his speed and ball control skills to playing as a boy with his older brothers and friends on a field near the family home: "I didn't always want to be the last one picked, so I practiced a lot."

i def. think that crash has changed his mentality, Tor! has a thing on him about it too (i dont have the book w/me now but i will check it once i can).
about the Schlaudraff comments: i dont mind it b/c its just Uli being Uli, thats what i love about him. he can take it overboard sometimes but its just one of the ways he does business. he is right about bayern being the top destination for a lot of germans, kinda like real is for top european players.

If he can not perform from the first game on he will be on the bench pretty fast.
I have good faith in that man, he is a clever lad, i think he can make it there.
