All these clubs are fairly new clubs and haven't been around for to long to have a massive history.

Thoughts? I don't know to much about the Asian teams but in all the headlines it has stated that both Sydney & Adelaide have been put in hard groups. Adelaide apparently having the harder group then Sydney and one of the hardest in the champions league.

Shouldn't there be a Group H? If not, are the two third place teams with the most points going through to the quarter finals? I don't think Adelaide will have too many problems dealing with the Vietnamese side, but the others might prove tough.

Nah, There is no Group H, I don't think Asia is good enough to have more teams from other countries fill in another group. It will bring down the quality of the Asian Champions League. I mean they have university's entered in the Asian Champions League. I reckon for Vietnam and those countries they should do it like Europe and have qualifying stages to make it through to the champions league because they just don't have the teams good enough for the standard of the Asian Champions League at the moment like some other Asian countries have. No offense. But again when you think about it the other countries don't have too many better teams. Soon they will have four teams coming in from Australia to the Champions League in my opinion, just give it a couple of years for Australian teams to do well in the Champions League and maybe win one and they will make it 4 teams. How the Champions League works for this year is that top of each group goes through to the quater finals and last years champions in also entered into the finals which is some Korean team as far as I know. Ah well, so far Australia's inclusion in the Asian Champions League has atleast rised the quality of clubs. Last year they had two teams from Thailand & Malaysia I think it was entered in but now they have brang it down to one which is good.

Man...... I just checked them out, they definately have a good supporter group, they will kick The Cove's ass and Sydney FC's ass easily. I didn't expect teams in Asia to be this good, ah well that shows the little I know about about Asia. There is going to be some tough competiton in the near future. Some of there top clubs have the ablility to match it with some of the top clubs from Europe. I was very suprised when I saw this. Well for all the Sydney supporters I have to say good luck to you but it just doesn't look too possible from what I see, they have some top internationals in there squad. Well, I guess as they play with a high standard that will raise the standards of Sydney FC, but they can't afford to make mistakes like they do in the A-League they just can't loose the ball and think they have a chance of beating them. They will have to play very well against some top players. It will be interesting to see how both Adelaide and Sydney go. I think they will need a couple of marquee signings for this tournament, couple of players that can make an impact like Dwight Yorke & Bonito Carbone did. And I think both Adelaide & Sydney will need to make a couple of marquee signing for the crowds if they want to outsing these clubs in the Champions League lol :D Well, At the moment I think the only club that will be capable of matching these clubs is Melbourne Victory. They can easily match them if they play at their best capabilities and the crowd sings at their best capabilities like at Olympic Park which I think we will hopefully get considering it is the Asian Champions League and we want to show all the Asian clubs who we are and that we know how to sing as well as them. Well, Goodluck again Adelaide & Sydney I wish you well and I hope you represent Australia well and make us proud as Australian's. I'm sure Melbourne will do good if they can maintain these standards and even better improve on them! Let the good & exciting times for Australian club football in Asia begin....... :D

seongnam will probably be the toughest club to face adelaide. they are the current korean league cup champions. but never underestimate any club. sydney is gonna have a tough time. Urawa has to be one of the strongest clubs in asia right now. they have an incredible line-up. and shanghai is one of the better clubs in the tourney.
kinda pissed that they took one of Viet Nam's spots to give to an Australian club but you guys will probably have a club that would do better than a vietnamese club. still stinging from when gamba osake beat my boys 13-0 last year.
